After that day, I've been working in the castle as a maid. And to say that it was terrible was an understatement. The maids were absolutely disgusting and the job was tiring as hell. I knew for a fact that all the maids disliked me as they made it very obvious.
Besides from all the work, the castle itself was beautiful and calming. I spent most of my free time out in the garden and sometimes spoke to Namjoon about my problems.
He assured me that he would 'somehow' figure out how I ended up in this world, even though it looked as though he didn't quite believe it himself. I guess he was just trying to be the kind person he naturally was.
I haven't seen Jungkook very often, only passing him a few times and we sometimes bumped into each other each morning and night- well duh. Our rooms were right next to each other. He usually tried to start conversations, but I would quickly brush him off, excusing myself for being tired. It wasn't that I hated him, I just didn't want to get too attached. I'd be leaving soon anyways- hopefully.
I've somewhat gotten closer to the other guys as well. Well, perhaps not Yoongi. He was still quite distant. Surprisingly, they aren't so bad at all. They're all quite sweet and funny.

Ruffling my hair up, I began to make my way up to my room. What better time is it then to plop down onto bed and fall into sweet slumber? I wanted nothing more than to take the maid uniform off. 
I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight, so I decided to quickly change into my comfy sweater and shorts then made my way down to the garden.
As soon as I made it to my favourite spot underneath the big tree, I breathed in the fresh air.
The breeze was quite chilly, causing goosebumps to form on my arms. The wind blew my hair around as I closed my eyes.
Wherever I was, I hope I could make it home.
Looking up at the night's sky, I found myself unable to look away. The stars were out today, shining brightly on the sky.
Just as I felt myself drifting off into dreamland, the sounds of footsteps brought me back. Blinking away my tiredness, I looked up and saw no other than Jungkook.
"Hey" He says, taking a seat next to me.
"Hi" I reply, shifting away slightly.
"What are you doing out here? It's quite cold" he says, glancing at me briefly.

We sat there in silence for a couple of minutes before I spoke up, "it's beautiful, isn't it?"
My eyes widened at my own words. 
He chuckled slightly. "Yes, it is. I used to go out here all the time when I was younger..."
I couldn't help but smile at him, and he happily returned it with his own.
"How are you going? We haven't spoken in a while" he asks me.
"Great" I say sarcastically. He frowned but didn't say anything.
"We should get back inside now. It's getting dark" he whispered, trying to take my hand, but I quickly pulled back.
"I can go by myself" I say, giving him a sharp glare.
He laughed before turning his back on me and walking straight to the door. I waited a few more minutes before deeply sighing and following him inside.

Ever since that night in the garden, we got much closer. Our conversations getting longer and longer each time we meet and our visits to each other more constant. Found out, he isn't so bad. He was just trying to be cool. Our friendship kept progressing and soon, I found myself catching feelings for the prince. Who wouldn't? He was kind, loving, caring and attractive, but I couldn't tell anyone.
 He was treating me differently as well. He wasn't as jerky anymore.

"Hey y/n!" V says, jogging towards me.
"Hey V, what's up?"
"It's Jungkook's Birthday!" He squeals.
I couldn't help but laugh warmly at how enthusiastic he was.
"I think you should give him these" he says, handing me a bouquet full of roses.
"The other guys and I am busy, so we can't give it to him. Thank you y/n!" He yells out before running down the staircases.
I blinked a few times, clutching onto the bouquet in my hand. I couldn't help but smile.
It's his birthday, he deserves my respect for at least this special day.
Walking up to his office, I suddenly felt giddy. When I reached his door, I decided to surprise him.
