Blank Space-Six

I was all the way up in Kai's throat and all the way round her arse. I squeezed onto it carefully and she pulled away from me laughing. This girl had me falling for her all over again. She pecked me on the forehead before she spoke. "This isn't the right place for that Devin. Tim has his ears and eyes all over us."

"Why?" she stepped back and smiled.

    "You don't have to know. I'm glad I get to see you like this."

"Kai can you tell me what is going on between you and Tim? I've been curious and it's driving me crazy. I don't like how he treats you too."

   "Devin, that's my business. Don't get involved in this. Things would've been easier if you hated me like you said you would."

"I can't hate you..." I held her hand. The tingles made her want to pull away from me.

   "You will, if you get to know what I've been doing and why I'm stuck with Tim." she took my hand off and turned to leave. "Let's hang out today with my friends." she said and left me all alone thinking about what she said.

I can forgive her for whatever she did if she comes clean to me. I don't want to find out on my own and start hating her.

   I freshened up and met her with Debra, Carina and Josh. He stood away from us with Carina and she was looking on the floor instead of looking at him. "Are you okay?" he asked and she nodded. "Did I do something wrong?" she shook her head and he held her chin up.

"I don't want us to keep seeing each other. We'll break up when we get tired of each other and my heart will ache for days. I'll miss you a thousand times in a day and you'll ignore me when we met coincidentally. My heart will hurt again and I'll end up wishing we could go back to the way we were before. I don't want that Josh. I can't deal with another heart break." she wiped off a tear.

Kai was looking at me. Carina summarized how my relationship with Kai turned out to be. I wondered how badly Zack hurt her. She was hurting and he didn't see that. He was acting tough but he was hurting too.

    Josh hugged her in his warmth and put her head on his shoulder. He gently patted her back and we heard her sniffing. "Why will we break up if we've not tried it yet? You can sit back and let me do all the loving if you're scared of getting hurt in the end. I don't know about you but breaking up is an option."

"Can you give me some time, I've to sort few things out."

     "Sure." Carina suggested we go to Zack's restaurant and I didn't know what was going on in her mind.

"Can you guys go ahead with Josh? I'll meet you there with Devin. We've something to talk about too." Kai said. Debra and Carina went away with Josh in his car and she sat in mine before I even asked her to. She rolled the glasses up and turned to me. "I really want to know Devin. I want to get it off my chest. Did you and Ivy sleep together when we dated?"

   "I didn't." she sighed heavily. "Why are you curious about that?"

"He made me believe it that way." she blurted out.

   "Who? Tim?" she shook her head and sighed again. "It was him right? He was the one who told you what Ivy and I did in the dark." I angrily asked and she kept mute. "You had to believe him instead of believing me? How long were you seeing him Kai?"

"Devin..."

    "Answer me Kai! How long has it been?"

"A week after our break up." she said.

Lair!! I saw her with him on the day we broke up. He was kissing her in his car. He took her to his house.

  "We broke up. Why do you keep on lying? What are you hiding from me?"
