[Prolonged Hiatus] San Francisco's Finest: Wrench x Female Reader Fanfiction

Chapter Seven:

The man looked around for a second seeing that no one was around "Let's get serious" The man began to say, "What all did your kidnappers ask you" You almost fell back, you weren't expecting a question like this.

"W-what?" You stammer

"What did they ask you," He asks again

"They asked where your hideout was, I didn't know so I didn't say anything"

"Damn. I guess they didn't take your answer too well" he pointed to the bruise on your cheek

"No not at all" Your tone droped and someone walked into the shop "Look my shift is almost over I'll talk more then"

The man walked out as the costomer walked up to the counter

The rest of the day was just as slow, you did some more fan art of random series you were into or helped the occasional customer who came in, sometimes even talked to someone who was interested in what you were drawing. As your shift came to a close you waited for either Wrench or the goatee guy to meet you, having a short conversation with Sean just talking about a game you both enjoyed. Eventually Wrench strolls up from the back room.

"Hey [y/n], lets go" he directs for you to follow to the back room as he begins walking.

"Oh okay then" you wave bye to Sean before going.

Wrench puts in a code that you couldn't quite see before the door opens. The back room had a staircase leading down into a basement the walls and ceiling around the staircase were covered in graffiti, once you got down to the basement there is a lot to take in, a ton of screens graffiti among other things. The same few people you'd see come from this place were all gathered around a table in the center of the room looking to be discussing something.

"She's here" Wrench announced to the people at the table as you and him walk over

The goatee guy from earlier gestures for you to sit down in one of the chairs. As you do so Wrench sits in the one next to you.

"So I'll introduce you to the people here" Wrench points at the woman sitting in the chair directly across from you "Thats Sitara," next he points to a particular scruffy looking older man in the seat to the right of her "Ray," the next person he points to is a guy in a green hoodie "Josh," finally he ends with pointing at the goatee guy "And that is Marcus, now that introductions are out of the way, there is some pretty serious stuff we need to talk about."

Marcus looked over at you "[y/n] weather you want to be a part of all of this or not you're in it now, they know who you are where you work, and who knows what else"

"Okay yeah but why me?" You ask

"Look no one meant to pull a civilian into our battles but now that they know you know us you've become a target, now the best you can do is learn how to protect yourself." Ray gave a look toward Wrench

"And may I ask what you mean by that?" You look around at the people sitting around the table

"You're gonna have to learn to become like us" Sitara answered

"A hacker..." You blurt out not completely processing what is going on

"Bingo!" Wrench says in his usual dorky demeanor

"It has been previously decided that Wrench would be the one to train you, most of the rest of us have other responsibilities to take care of in dealing with this whole situation..." Josh said hesitant at first

"It starts tomorrow young grasshopper" Wrench does a bow

"And until then?" You ask a hint of worry in your voice

"You got me and that scary roommate of yours." He half jokes

"Well then, I guess with that the meeting is over" Marcus says standing up and walking out presumeably to take care of things. Everyone else gets up to do various things around the place.

"Hey [y/n] when your ready to leave come talk to me" Wrench informs before standing up and walking to a table by the wall, with many pictures hung by it and random parts scattered on it, and begins working on what you could only guess was a weapon of mass destruction.

After a while of looking around and talking a little bit with some of the dedsec members about whats going on you feel ready to leave and go up to Wrench.

"Hey, you ready to go" he says as you walk over

"Yeah." You say now feeling a little better about the situation you have been put in.

*Gah! Okay, yeah I know its been a very long time since I've updated this story. I am so sorry. But hey heres more! I hope you guys are fine with a bit of a shorter chapter than usual, I felt I shouldn't keep those of you who really want to see this story continue waiting.
