"Multi-billionaire, CEO of the biggest brand, a successful businessman. What do we know about the businessman of the year, Raj Malhotra? Nothing. His family background, his love life, his personal life, and vice versa. Nothing at all. What lies in his extremely guarded private life? Stay tuned to Star News."

What the fuck? "Why is baseless news of me playing in my office?"

"Sorry, sir." The fella turned off the TV and I could finally think in peace.

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault." I truly hate when people talk to me like I'm about to cut them open and eat their insides for lunch. I'm not that scary.

"What happened to the new client yesterday?" I ask seeing the incomplete file.

"Oh, he said he would think about the deal, sir. It's gonna take him time to accept because he said it's not his cup of tea. He was also quite rude to our staff."

"Cancel the deal and ban him from our company," I say, casually flipping through other important files. Who the fuck wants to have a deal with someone who disrespects my staff? Fuck the hell off.

"Okay, sir."

"Any important information I'm missing?"

"Oh, yes. There's an important proposal for a prestigious deal. I've emailed the details to your email, sir. Whenever you approve, I will initiate the client meeting whenever you want."

"Okay, I'll go through them by today and I'll come back to you as soon as possible."

"Sure, sir. Also, the CBI hasn't found any information on Farzan's location. It's like he's lost in somewhere no one knows about."

I smirk. "He stole $7 million from me. He can do anything he wants with that money if he uses it wisely. And I know for a fact, he knows how to use that white money well enough without getting caught."

"But the CBI is investigating further."

"No, Rohit. Tell them to leave it aside. Keep the case open but there's no need to investigate. If he gets caught, he gets caught. If he doesn't, let him be. If I can't punish him, God will."

"So, tell them to stop investigating?"

"Yes. Let them focus on other things that matter. There're murder and rape cases that are skyrocketing as time goes on. Rather than finding for that useless prick, let them focus on catching actual criminals."

"Okay, sir. I'll talk to them." He writes in his memo on a clipboard.

"Is that all?"

He checks his memo before replying to me. "Yes, sir."

"Alright then." I sigh in exhaustion. "Thank you, Rohit. You may leave now."

A few minutes after he left, I plop my head back on the headrest of the chair. I let out an exhaustive sigh and closed my eyes.
