Narrator POV
Soojin pushed his way into the room coming face to face with Y/n. His expression fell to a disgust and clicked his tongue.
"Great, YG has Teddy and they give the next big boy group this loser for a producer." He spat out, Y/n keeping his face straight and calm. "Well, come on loser where's the-"
"I think you need to show some respect as a trainee." Lisa interrupted as she stood up from the computer causing Soojin's face to fall in embarrassment. "Don't forget that Y/n is the one who produced every single song Blackpink has done."
Soojin hadn't noticed that Lisa was there, so it startled him.
She went to speak again but Y/n raised his hand signaling her to stop. He reached into his pocket and pulling out a thumb drive and Soojin snatched it out of his hand.
"This better be good, none of that other shit you put out. I shouldn't have to work harder because you suck at your job." He said slamming the door behind him.
"I hate him, he's such a dick! I seriously don't get what she sees in him." Lisa huffed, her face contorting into an angry expression.
"It's fine. If she loves him then I'm sure there's something about him that she's attracted to." Y/n said heaving a deep sigh.
"I'm sorry, Oppa..." Lisa said as she hugged him from behind.
"You don't need to be sorry, none of it's your fault. But you should really be getting down to the practice room, shouldn't you?" Y/n said looking back at her.
"It's just a small meeting about what kind of songs we want to make for the comeback." She responded.
"Then you should get going the other girls are probably here now waiting." He said as Lisa let go and pulled away from the hug.
"You're right," she giggled. "Annyeong, Oppa."
She kissed him on the cheek and hopped out of the door waving back at Y/n. He smiled as she hopped out of sight and then closed the door. He sat down in his desk chair, and leaned back closing his eyes.
Y/n POV
"Aish, I have to agree with you Lisa, I don't see what Chaeyoung sees in him either. Hell, I've never even talked to him before and the first thing he does is insult me." I let out a heavy sigh and sat up in my chair. "Why can't I just catch a break? I just want to do my job and go home."
I sighed and sifted through the folders and skimmed through the different tasks listed in each. Each folder was titled with the group that they were for. Most of them for trainee groups, one for IKON, and one for CL, and a few of the other artists under YG. They weren't gonna produce themselves, so I began working on the beats. I always kept the notes left in the files on the desk in front of me so that I could look back on the notes. I worked for the next eight hours on the beats. I was able to get roughs for all of them done. I labeled them in a way that Mr. Yang would be able to go through them and know who and what it was for. I put them all on a thumb drive and cleaned up the things I had brought to work. It was getting late and I needed to rest for the show this weekend. Mr. Yang had given me the next couple days off to get ready for it.
I left the studio and locked the door then made my way to the elevator to go to the bosses office. I clicked the up arrow and waited for the elevator to open. When it opened there was a man standing in the elevator already, I stepped in and pressed the button for the top floor. I leaned back nodding to the other person in the elevator, not paying much attention.
