Narrator POV

Y/n wakes up and rubs the tired out of your eyes. So far Y/n and the band have found a place big enough that would be more than happy to have you. The landlord said he would even have the basement soundproofed and cleaned for you so that you could set up your home studio and practice room there. You just have to find a job as fast as possible now. You and the band was excited, things were going well. Apartment secured, money saved for tickets and to send all of your things. All that was left is the job.

Y/n sat up, grabbed his phone and open up the web browser to do a job search. Still all the same jobs he had already applied to. A quick check in his emails showed no one had gotten back to him. he fell back onto his bed and let out a large sigh.

"Man, everyone else has a job already, I only have a week to find one..." he said to himself, "What am I gonna do?"

Quack! That was his phone, and he was probably the only one that found the duck quack text tone funny still. he raised the hand his phone was in to check the text, it was Raven.

Raven: Hey, you up yet? We wanna grab breakfast.

You: Yeah, I'll be ready by the time you pick me up.

Raven: So... you're already ready?

You: What?

Raven: We are literally sitting outside your place now

You: I hate you guys sometimes lol. On my way out!

Y/n locked his phone screen, got up, brushed his teeth, put on deodorant, and changed clothes. He grabbed his hair brush and brushed out his long wavy hair and tied it back, then made his way out and jumped in the van, taking the usual front passenger seat.

"Let's rock." He said as Raven hit the gas and drove off.

Not long after, they all arrived at a local restaurant, walked in, and got seated. After everyone ordered their food, Jamie spoke up.

"So, you find a job yet, Y/N?" He asked.

"Not yet, no place has emailed me back yet." Y/n responded as the waitress passed out the drinks, "and nothing new has been posted yet either."

"Have you checked to see if there was any producer jobs? There's a few companies in Seoul, right?" Luke chimed in, tearing the end of his straw paper off and blowing the other side at Jonathan.

"I didn't even think about that to be honest." Y/n said pulling his phone out and searching it up.

The page loaded and his eyes grew in disbelief. The top result was something Y/n hadn't expected.

"There's one, and you wouldn't believe who's hiring..." You said looking up and around to the band sitting around the table.

"Oh? Who is it? Who's hiring?" Kristen said as she went to take another sip of her soda.

"YG." You said, face still showing the shock.

"Dude you better get on that before someone else applies." Raven said, his face as shocked as Y/n's.

Y/n went through the page and filled out the form, attaching his YouTube channel that held all his beats and past work, then submitted.

"It says they're looking for a producer to work closely with a new group debuting soon, work starting next week, day after we get there." Y/n said looking up at Raven.
