Y/n POV

We pulled into a small lot that was familiar to me but not so much to Chaeyoung. She looked at me a little confused and looking around. In front of the car there was a metal staircase that led up to the top of a dam. I just smiled at her.

"Do you remember me mentioning that I use to have a place here at home I would escape to and clear my head?" Her eyes lit up at the question that told me she understood where we were.

"This is the place you were talking about?" She asked with a child like excitement.

"The one and only." I shut the car off as I spoke, "and tonight I have a surprise for you, so let's get up there."

We both got out of the car, grabbed the blanket and drinks I had brought, and made our way to the top of the dam via the stairs. We arrived at the top and I was hit a nostalgic high. The smell of the air fused with the smell of the pizza and wrapped itself around my nostrils. The familiar visual from the top relaxed me. This use to be the height of my happiness. I use to think that being up here was the best it could get. Never did I think I would be joined by the love of my life. This moment played in slow motion allowing me to savor every second. Chaeyoung interlocked her fingers with mine, I carried the pizza in the opposite hand, and we continued walking.

We decided on a place roughly on the halfway and I laid out the blanket, having Chaeyoung hold the pizza while I did so. We sat down and started eating and her face lit up like she normally does when she likes the food.

"This is so good!" She flapped her arms as she spoke.

"I knew you'd like it." I laughed.

"So, what's the surprise?" She asked leaning in and pecking me on the lips with hers.

I pulled my phone out to check the time. "You will find out in about fifteen minutes."

She playfully sighed, rolled her eyes, and locked her arm with mine as she took another bite. "Fine."

We talked while we ate. Mostly about how excited we were to get the house and bring Ming and Shuyang home. We couldn't wait to introduce them to BTS and Blackpink as Uncle BTS and Aunt Blackpink, as Chaeyoung put it. I loved that she was just as excited as I was to bring them home.

"Hey, Y/n..." She said after a small silence, I hummed in response. "Do you think I'll be a good mother?"

"Don't worry for a moment, princess." I said pulling her close after putting the lid back on the pizza box. "You will be a wonderful mother, I promise. Besides, they're good kids. I'm sure we will be just fine."

We looked out onto the water when a stream flew up from a distant bridge, and fireworks began exploding in the air. Chaeyoung's eyes lit up and a smile formed on her lips as she laid her head on my shoulder and softly said "I love you".

As the fireworks continue to go off, Chaeyoung wrapped herself around my arm and resting her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and held her close. Eventually the finale came and the sky lit up in different colors as different fireworks all went off nearly simultaneously. I could see the happiness glow in her eyes. This was that moment. You know, that moment that people talk about. They say when you find the one, you just know. The finale finished and the air was left almost eerily quiet. Smoke from the fireworks could be seen due to the moonlight.

Chaeyoung broke the silence. "You know, when I first met you I thought you were adorable. You looked like a lost puppy."

"I was a lost puppy. One very lost puppy." I laughed out causing her to giggle. "It's funny, when I was hired onto YG I thought I would be working with a boy group. I was pretty shocked when the girl I had been thinking about since I got to Korea walked the the door with three other girls."
