18. Reflections

Rose POV

It's been a month since Y/n saved me from getting hit by that car and a lot has happened. After he pushed me back onto the sidewalk the car hit him dead on. It connected with his back and he rolled on and over it hitting his head pretty hard. So hard, that when I ran over to him he was already out, thankfully still breathing but just barely. Soojin didn't even care to stay and make sure Y/n or I was okay, he just took off without a word. When I turned back to ask him for help he was nowhere to be found. Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo came out about that time and ran over to help me move him to the sidewalk. Help arrived quickly after and I went in the ambulance with him. I had to, it was the least I could do since he had just saved my life. It turned out he was hit so hard on the head that he went into a coma, and hasn't woken up yet. He won't for a while according to the doctor, and he was lucky he hadn't broken his neck. The doctor had said he would recover just fine, but I'm still worried.

I went public with what happened in a live stream with Blinks the night it happened. After everything calmed down that is. I even told them about what happened with Soojin. They were so supportive, some made me laugh and smile with their support. They were even honoring Y/n as well and saying I better hurry up and marry him because he's now my hero. All the shipping made me blush actually. I explained that I doubt he would consider dating me because he was mad at me or hated me, but they reassured me that there's no way he would have risked his life like that if he hated me. They also followed his Instagram, sending him messages and comments to get well, causing his followers to blow up. They left messages thanking him for making Blackpink the group we are, and complimenting his production skills. Everyone had said I should break up with Soojin for Y/n because of how he's been acting, but I really loved him.

I spent a lot of time in his hospital room even though we were on break and filming Blackpink House. I filmed a bit while out getting lunch with the other members but I went straight back to Y/n's room after. There were times where we went to other countries and places for vacation, but I just worried the whole time. Sometimes Lisa would come with me to the hospital to visit, but she wanted to give me alone time with Y/n most the time. Of course his band mates and my other members would stop in to see him as well.

They say you can still hear the people around you when you're in a coma so I would talk to him and thank him repeatedly. Often times while we were alone I would start crying while I talked to him. Often times I would fall asleep with my head laying on his bed and holding his hand.

Halfway through the second month after the accident, I had caught Soojin cheating with another trainee. Me and Jennie Unnie caught him when we went to see if he wanted to go to the cafe with us but when we walked in and he was kissing her. When she found out that he was dating me she wasn't happy about it either because he had told her he left me. Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa got me to open up about how he treated me after that. We contacted Leemin and sat down with him as well, then went to Mr. Yang about it. That same day Soojin was kicked out of his group and the company. Leemin apologized seemingly a million times for the damage that was caused even though I told him it wasn't his fault. He even expressed his concern for Y/n and went to visit him with me. Me and the trainee became friends, and like Leemin, she apologized a lot. I made sure she knew I wasn't mad at her, after all, she had no idea me and him were still together.

I sat next to Y/n's bed and held his hand with tears welling up.

"You like him, don't you?" Leemin asked smiling up at me.

I couldn't respond because the question caught me off guard and made me blush.

"It's written all over your face, Noona." He said still smiling. "He's a great guy and one hell of a producer. You guys were a hit right out of the gate with his instrumentals, no joke. He's also my Blackpink bias."
