July 20th, was the start of our fourth summer tour in America. You will never guess who was on tour with us. You guessed it, her. While Harry, Liam and Louis had to go and work some details out with managment, Zayn and Perrie and I had decided to walk around NYC. We hadn't been there in a while, so we wanted to see what was happening. She had come with us. While Zayn and Perrie held hands, her and I had just walked side by side. We had talked, the entire time. Zayn and Perrie jumped in every few minutes, but they didn't seem interested, but I was. I could have listened to her talk all day and never get bored or tired of her voice. We had run into fans while passing Time Square. Zayn and I had signed autographs and took pictures, but she had still held my attention. She always held my attention. I felt Zayn's questioning glance on me constantly, but I hadn't acknowledged him.
After we were done with the fans we had gone to lunch. We had all attempted to make small talk, but we mostly just ate. Her and I had done most of the talking. She stared at me with her dark eyes. The dark eyes full of unasked questions and untold answers, and I got light headed. I had learned to not stare into her eyes to long. Zayn and Perrie had gotten up from the table and asked if we had wanted to go to a movie with them. We had declined and they left. Her and I sat there, talking. She talked about her home and her family and her friends. She talked about how she always cried when she watched Titanic because she didn't know how Rose could just let go of Jack even if he was no longer with her. It was an interesting point. She also talked about how she used to always miss myn and the boys twitcams, and how she would always try for a follow but we never noticed her. How could I not notice her? How could I not see her tweets in my mentions? It was still a mystery to me. I apologised and said how I hoped she wouldn't hold it against me. She laughed her amazing laugh and said how she always would. I asked her if she ever loved anyone besides Harry. I don't know where the question came from. It was a slip of the tounge. Her face took on a look that was between seriousness and saddness and ever so cautious as she said how she did but that she never had a chance. My heart fluttered. I was about to ask her who it was when Harry had walked into the resturant and looked around and smiled when he spotted us in the corner and waved.
"I ran into Zayn and Perrie walking out of the hotel and they said you guys were here. Hello, beautiful." Harry had said before he kissed her lightly on the lips. I had just stared at them as I thought of how that should be me not him. That he didn't deserve her kisses. Harry gave me a pat on the shoulder and winked. I had put on a fake smile. Pretended I wasn't hurting inside.
"So what did managment need to talk to you and the boys about?" I asked.
"They just wanted us to work more on our solos. Apparantly we weren't trying hard enough yesterday." Harry had answered. There was her laugh again. It was unmistakable. Harry had put his arm around her and she kissed him on the cheek. I had pressed the ringer on my phone and excused myself and said it was my mum. I had rushed out of the resturant, not caring if Paul wasn't around to protect me from the mobs of fans waiting for pictures, signatures and attempts of trying to slip me their phone numbers. I didn't care. If she wasn't the one next to me, nothing else mattered.
