Chapter 1: Swimming with a Friend

No one's POV -

The sound of Link's boots stepping onto the glass bridge echoed. He put away his paraglider back into his inventory. Curiously looking around. It was silent. There was only one guard at the door in front of him. Link stepped forward to the guard, and he immediately let the Champion in.

Sidon was patiently waiting at Mipha's statue. "Oh Goddess, where could he be right now? I told him to come at 5:00 and now it's 7. Oh dear.." Sidon thought as he paced back and forth worriedly. A guard came to Sidon and tapped his shoulder "Sir, the Hylian Champion is here for you.". Sidon jumped up in happiness, a wide smile on his face.

Link walked up the stairs and saw Sidon. The Zora's tallness, his dark red body, and his jewelry made him almost impossible not to see. Link looked at him and blushed. "He's like a red ruby in the night" Link thought. He walked toward Sidon while the giant Zora wasn't looking and tugged at his arm.

Sidon turned around and looked at the small Hylian and smiled happily. "Link! You're finally here!" Link looked at him with a light blush at his cheeks. "Since you're staying here for your year long vacation here, we should start hanging out together more!" He petted the Champion's head lightly. "Sidon.." Link mumbled. "Yes, Link?" Sidon asked looking down at him.

"Would...Would you like to swim with me?.." Sidon clasped his hands together and chuckled in delight. "Sure thing, small friend". Link blushed as he smiled. He started to walk up the stairs to the Reservoir and didn't hear Sidon behind him at first. "Up we go, little one" Sidon put both his hands on Link's waist and hoisted him up onto his shoulders.

Both boys blushed and were silent until they got to the lake. Sidon put Link down and started to take off all his jewelry. Link looked up at him. "Sidon." Link tugged at his arm again. "Is something wrong Link?" He asked as he dipped into the water. "I wanted to ask you something really important" Link started to take off his shirt. He stayed silent for a bit.
"How important am I to you?"
