•••Link's Writing POV•••

"Date: ???
Calamity Ganon is a big struggle. It's been at least two weeks after I woke up. The Blood Moon has risen more times than I can count. I remember how to read, write, walk, and breathe. I haven't left the Great Plateau. It hurts too much to leave. I can teleport here now with my new Sheikah Slate.
My final goodbye to King Rhoam wasn't bad. But it hurt a lot. I don't remember him at all from my time before the calamity. If I even existed back then. He let me keep this empty journal that was in that abandoned house.
Blood moons scare me a lot. Bokoblin camps just keep filling up. I going out that I could use the Blood Moon to my advantage and keep on stacking up on whatever I get from them. Maybe sell them for a good price when I get to Kakariko Village, or Hateno Village."

Sidon flipped through the pages. He didn't want to read the past. It felt like a breach of privacy to snoop into what little adventures Link went on before meeting Sidon. There was a part in the journal sectioned off, marked by a little feather. "After Calamity Ganon" This got Sidon's attention rather quickly. There was an entire little section for Zora's Domain in that section. The Prince's hands started to tremble a little. He was worried. He would finally know what Link really thought about him. "I mean obviously it's nothing negative since we're dating! Haha, I mean, that would be absurd." He thought and awkwardly laughed to himself. It's not like he thought Link was unhappy with the relationship, not one bit. But he was a bit of an over-thinker.

"Date: ???
Months after defeating that monster, I can finally have a very long break. I feel like retiring, but I'm not that old. I'll probably never retire. Other than that, my one goal is over. But obviously I know my job as the appointed Knight will end when I die. I already decided to have my long break in Zora's Domain. Not because it's always pretty much a paradise there, but Sidon..."

Sidon's heart started to flutter. "Me?" He said out loud with a grin on his face.

"I never got to spend more time with him during my adventure. He's the closest thing I have to Mipha. I know that sounds wrong but he's definitely much more than just her brother. He's funny, brave, enthusiastic, positive, charming, cute in so many ways, and just attractive. Everything about him is amazing. He kind of struggles in some awkward social situations, but he tries his best. His so determined and persistent."

Sidon's cheeks went red. He never thought Link thought of him like this. It was super charming to see his true colors on paper.

"I know, he only sees me as a friend, that's a bummer. I don't want to be 'just friends'. That's dumb.. I hate being in the friendzone."

That was the end to page one. "He thought he was in the friendzone..?! I thought I was in the friendzone. Dear Hylia, I'm so stupid." He facepalmed and sighed. He flipped a few pages forward.

"Date: November, ???
Oh my Hylia, Sidon kissed me for the first time! It was amazing. He gripped my waist so firmly. It felt so amazing. I sat on his chest! I could've hurt him. Ugh Link you're such an idiot! God, you had one job at the perfect time but you blew it.. God I was in my boxers too, ugh."

Sidon snorted and laughed hysterically. Small fragments of sentences escaped his mouth as he fell to the ground laughing. "Oh goddess!-" he wheezed and wrapped his arms around himself. One of the guards opened the door. "Sire, are you alright?" The guard stood there in disbelief. Sidon immediately stood up and cleared his throat. "I haven't heard you laugh like that ever since Mipha was here," The guard said. Sidon chuckled nervously, but flashed his enthusiastic grin after. "Do not worry, Link will keep me laughing." He posed. The guard smiled "You're starting to sound like your sister, it's a coincidence that you and her chose the same boy." The guard walked away and shut the door. Everything was quiet for a bit. "Wait a minute.." Sidon ran to the door, opened it and shouted "How do you know?!" He shouted again. "Princess Zelda," The Guard said as he walked off. "Dammit, Father..." He clenched his fists and walked out the door, leaving the book on the ground.

Sidon rushed toward his father, sighing. "What did you tell her...." He didn't like the thought of Zelda ever knowing about him and Link. Princess Zelda might reveal some things, or even try to drive him away from him. The Prince walked up to his father's throne room, mumbling to himself worriedly. "Oh son, who are you on about?" King Dorephan asked curiously. "Father, you can sense my mood, you know what I'm here for." He got a little angry. "I know, I know. I'm only playing," His father was amused. "Princess Zelda came her days ago to give you an invitation but you were busy with Link. I didn't want to distract you guys from your lovey-dovey time!" Dorephan clapped his hands together in joy. Muzu, who stood nearby, rolled his eyes.
"An invitation? To what? And why??" Sidon asked. "She's holding a party at Hyrule Castle. All the families of the leaders from the Four Races were invited." King Dorephan said. "To be king, you need to be on top of these events." He started pestering. "Yes, of course. I know." Sidon listened to his father ramble. "Go and open the invite and tell my future son-in-law about it!" His father patted his back, shooing him away.

"He isn't here right now, he is currently escorting the Princess to Gerudo Town." He started walking away, looking at the invitation closely. "And what do you mean by 'Future Son-In-Law'?"Sidon shouted at his father, but Dorephan just laughed again. "I'm always teasing you about it, but I'm glad you've found your true happiness, now go read that invite in your room." He smiled and said "I've cleared your schedule this week for the party" Sidon nodded and walked off.

Sidon threw the invitation onto the bed. "Ugh, this is what happens when you overthink things, Sidon." He groaned in frustration. "Is Zelda going to talk to him about the party?" He thought before a familiar sound went off in the room. "Was that... A Sheikah Slate? Is Link back?" The sound went off again, but there was no one else in the room. Except, the journal from earlier was open. Sidon leaned in to see what was really happening. Words. Words were appearing on the paper like magic. Each sentence starting would make the Slate noises. Sidon chuckled. "I should've suspected that it was Sheikah Technology" He laughed at himself as he started to read the appearing words.

"Earlier today, the Princess was being so stubborn. It was like both her and I were running through fire. I signed to her that it was too hot to continue and we should stop, since we were more than halfway toward Kara Kara Bazaar. Then she's all like 'No, we're almost there, we will be safe, I assure you' she said. But hell, it was late afternoon at the time, she would've died in the heat!"

Sidon just chuckled. "What am I so worried about? They act like siblings, what's the worse that could happen?" He thought. His worries were now melting away. He quickly took a quill from his desk and dipped it in ink. Brushing a sheet of paper, he started writing rapidly.
In rapid succession, the Prince put it into an envelope and rushed out of his room. He looked at a guard nearby and  ran to him, handing him the letter. "Guard, have a messenger send this letter off. It's for Princess Zelda."
