I SHIP IT!
~Anna's pov~
'I've never liked Kayla, she just seems like one of those manipulative girls since the first time I met her in 8th grade. I've tried warning Siya about this, but I decided that it's better she learns it herself.' I thought to myself as I saw Kayla entering the class and then indicating Siya to come over. I shook my head when Siya actually started making her way towards Kayla and tried to focus my attention towards the conversation Arya and Nikki were having.
A few minutes later, the class fell in complete silence as the new guy entered the class. I spared a glance at him to look what was so special about him that the whole class stopped talking and to be honest I found nothing special and the way Siya was looking at me told me even she wasn't interested in this bullshit. Then I scanned the whole class room finding many girls' jaws on the floor. I mentally face-palmed myself and started paying attention to the ongoing conversation between Arya and Nikki which remained completely unaffected with whatever was happening in the whole class. The bell rang in a few minutes, indicating that it was time for Siya and Nikki to leave this class to reach their own class.
I sat down on the last desk lost in my thoughts, until I felt someone tap on my shoulder. It was the new guy. He dropped his bag on the seat next to me and sat down with a soft thud. "Hi. I'm Anna Aria. Looks like we're partners for the next few months." I said, smiling at him. "Hi, I'm Rohit." He said, giving what looked like a forced smile. We both had no interest in talking so we just minded our own business for the next 2 hours.
'It looks like the new guy doesn't want to talk about himself, so be it. I'll just continue writing in my book of Quotes which then will be very royally returned to Siya as the book is basically Siya's but she gave it to me as she doesn't have any good quotes and the ones she makes are extremely confusing.' I thought to myself and started writing in the small blue colored notebook.
An hour into it I felt the new guy trying to read the diary. "Wanna read?" I asked him, smiling again. He nodded and I gladly presented the dairy to him. He took the diary and started reading it from the first page onward. By the looks of it he was impressed by whatever was written in it.
"Hey, nice quotes." He said, handing me back the diary. "Really? Which quotes do you like the most?" I asked him. "The ones on the first 2 pages. I can relate to them pretty easily." He said and started minding his own business again.
'The quotes in the first few pages weren't written by me. They were written down by Siya. Good at least someone gets the logic behind them' I smiled at myself and then started with writing again.
*fast forward half an hour later.
There's still one hour left for the lunch break. I stopped writing in the diary a few minutes ago as I got bored and now I'm just laying my head down on the desk waiting for time to pass by.
"Hi!. " I recognized the voice as Sachin's. "Hey." I replied lazily dragging myself up to sit straight on the desk. "So, I saw your drawings. They're really good. I was wondering if you could look at my drawings and help me improve in them?" He said, looking hopeful.
"Yeah, sure. Why not?" I said and started looking through his drawing, paying attention to every single small detail. I was so engrossed in looking at the drawings that I almost didn't notice Tarun standing there. We all talked a little about different things and then both of them went back to their desks for doing their own things.
*fast forward another half an hour later.
"BREAKKK!!!" the whole class screamed overjoyed and I joined in when I realized the reason of the noise in the class. I got up from my seat, stretching my legs and then took my lunch bag in my hand. Everything was fine until I was attacked by a huge animal jumping on top of me. Oh...no worries, it was just Siya. Her jumping on me knocked the wind right out of my lungs. I laid down while she quickly recovered from the fall and started merrily talking to the new guy, completely forgetting about the poor me laying down on the floor.
I gave her a hard glare, when she finally turned her attention towards me. A look of guilt flashed on her face and she gave a hand for me to take and be up with it's support. As soon as I got up I smacked her on the back of her head and started walking towards my long- forgotten lunch bag, completely ignoring her rant as I thought to myself, 'I SHIP IT!'
