SLEEPOVER!

After the Annual concert was done in full swing, it was time to celebrate my mom's birthday. My dad and I had planned on taking her to her favorite restaurant and treat her with the vanilla brownie with hot chocolate treat. Even if she was this old she acted like a child sometimes and it was fun being with her childish self. She acted as if she was many years younger than us and it felt really cute for some reason.

So when Nikki asked for the sleepover, I was stuck in between the two choices. Nikki's plan included going back home with her and having my dad drop all my accessories there, the sleepover sounded fun but I also didn't want to bail out on our family planning for mom.

After talking to Anna's mom, who agreed right away with the plan, it was time to talk to my parents. We did a lot of discussion about how I could be a part of both of them we decided on an alternative plan which was, I would go to the restaurant with my family, whereas Nikki and Anna will go to Nikki's house and have dinner. After we're back from the restaurant I could pack my bags and cycle my way to Nikki's and then we could start with the sleepover.

We walked to our car and I called shot gun. The ride barely lasted 5 minutes. The weather was cold, so we quickly got out of the warm comforts of the car to the building of the restaurant as my dad handed the car keys to the valet parking volunteers. As we entered the building, my body shivered with cold. The people working in the restaurant didn't seem bothered by the really really low temperature of the air conditioners there. We sat in the room which was as cool as Antarctica till we could't take it anymore. My dad called the waiter and we got him to reduce the temperature.

*fast forward to after the dinner.

Laughing and talking we went back to the car. Our tummies were full with all the Biryani and cake. There was literally no space for air. By this time I had completely forgotten about the sleepover. When I reached home, the whole family decided on getting changed and then watching a movie together.

After we were done with the changing and all, we met back in the living room. My phone was on silent till then, I got up from my favorite spot on the sofa and got my phone from my mom's bag because I was too lazy to carry it myself and saw that I had almost 50 missed calls from Nikki. Then it hit me. "Oh shit, I completely forgot about the sleepover." I thought as I rushed to my room to get my bag.

"Mamma I have to go to Nikki's for the sleepover!" I shouted as I ran to my cycle and rushed to Nikki's. After I reached there I parked my cycle in the cycle parking and made my way to her tower. I sat down there waiting for er to arrive as she had messaged me saying that she'll take sometime to come home from Subway.

As I was waiting there, scrolling through my feed, Ray, my boyfriend called.

"Helooo!" I said with a smile on my face even if he couldn't see it.

"Hey lil bear. What have you been up to?" He asked. We can't see each other when we want to anymore. He lives in Pune, its a 2 hour road trip from my place to his place now. It honestly sucks, I miss him a lot but I really cannot do anything about it.

" Eh nothing much, I'm going to a sleepover at Nikki's place now!" I said letting my excitement show. "That's great! I knew you weren't gonna have trouble making friends."

"Raaayyyy! It's been 1 year since I've shifted. I,'ll obviously have friends na!" I said, playfully.

"Okay okay. How are you?" He said as I simultaneously heard a notification ding from my phone. "Gimme a sec." I said as I took the phone away from my ear to see a text message from Nikki.

"Turn around."
"Hey Ray? I gotta go I'll call you when I get time." I said, after I spotted Nikki and Anna.

"Okay, bye. Love you. "
"Take care love you." I said as I ended the call.

We went to Nikki's place and talked about a lot of stuff. I fell asleep at 2 in the morning when Anna and Nikki decided to play an otome game and I wasn't interested.
