-Chapter 4-

I hate him

~Siya's pov~

"You won't know Siya, this is love at first sight." She interrupted my speech and I face-palmed like I had never before. That was it, I gave up any hopes of her actually understanding what was right and what was wrong. I started walking back to my table when she called me back. I turned around waiting for her to say something more.

"Could you please help me get through to him?" She asked with hopeful eyes. "Nope." I said as I turned around to walk back my way. She quickly ran and stopped in front of me. She gave me her best puppy eyes and with that I knew there was nothing she would stop at to make me talk to him about this. I got annoyed and I pushed my hand against her face, dragged her to the side. "Alright, now let me go have lunch with the group. Tell me what do I have to do on Insta. " I said in the same annoyed voice and started walking away. I felt her eyes on me and I turned around to see that she was staring at me only because I was standing in between her and Rohit. I face- palmed again and started walking away from there.b

"Hey, what's up Kayla? Does she have a crush on the new guy or something?" Anna asked, looking curious to know about whatever was happening. I simply nodded my head and frowned. "How did you know?" I asked her. "It's nothing new. Kayla has the ability of instantly developing a crush on new guys in the school. Besides she's been staring at him the whole day. It's annoying. " She said rolling her eyes. I huffed and started eating my lunch in peace.

When I was done I walked back to my thinking about how was I going to talk to him about Kayla liking him. I liked being the wing woman but according to me this case seemed a bit hopeless.

*fast forward one and a half hour later

The walk back home was tiring if I say so myself. Walking in the afternoon sun was just SO exhausting! I came back home dripping head to toe from sweating so much.

"Maaa! Could you please get me a glass of water?!" I asked her as I was relaxing on the sofa. "Get up and get it yourself!" She replied as she busily typed away on the computer that was situated in the living area. I groaned as I got up from the sofa and made my way towards the kitchen with my small micromax in my hand searching up for his profile. "Bingo!."I said as I found his profile on insta.

Hi

I sent him a message when I saw him online.

Hey. Do I know you?

Yeah we met in school today, remember?

I met a lot of people in school today. May I know your name?

Oh, I'm Siya Shah.

Oh you're Anna's friend right?

Yeah.

So, sup?

Nothing much, you say?

uh, I wanted to tell you something.

Yeah, go ahead.

Kayla likes you a bit....

Seriously?! I don't want you interrupting in our personal matters.

If she likes me she needs to have the guts to tell it to me by herself.

Okay.

I won't interrupt.

Bye.

I'm gonna talk to the supervisor about this.

He said and went offline. After seeing this one message my heart beat quickened it's pace. Him telling this to the supervisor was my worst nightmare coming true. It would destroy my reputation in front of all the teachers and not only the supervisor.

I was sweating with fear this time. I decided to divert my attention from this matter and start focusing on my studies for now. We'll see what happens tomorrow and then act accordingly. I went to my room and put on some songs on the speaker. Then I grabbed my change of clothes from my closet and made my way towards the bathroom. I switched the geyser on and decided to have another bath as my uniform was soaked with sweat, I took longer than usual for having a bath. When I was done having a bath I went to my study table and started to write down stuff that was important from my Biology text book after I switched of the music that was playing from my speaker.

Hours passed by and soon it was time for dinner. My mom had bought us some vada pav ( Indian burger) and I took it to my room. After I was done I went to the bathroom to finish my night routine which only consisted of washing my face and brushing my teeth. and went off to sleep.

I woke up, suddenly remembering the chat that took place between Rohit and I. I shrugged it off thinking that it was only an empty threat and I started getting ready for my day at school. Today was when the real studying at school started.

*flash forward 1 hour later.

I was completely bored sitting on the first bench near the window seat in a physics lecture. "May I come in teacher?" I turned towards the door frame to find Kayla standing at the door step, with a sad expression on the face. The teacher gave permission and she walked in and whispered something in the teachers ear and the teacher nodded.

"Siya, you've been called for at the supervisor's office." My eyes widened as soon as I heard these 8 words leave the teacher's mouth. I looked from the teacher to Kayla and then again towards the teacher. She sadly smiled at me and then told me to leave quickly so that she could resume her lesson.

I put my head down and started walking towards Kayla, internally blaming her for dragging me into all this mess. But then as I thought about it, the fault was mine as well,' I shouldn't have agreed to this in the first place.' I thought to myself as I took slow steps towards the supervisor's office. As I reached there, I saw Rohit in deep discussion with Supervisor ma'am.

" May I come in ma'am?" I asked mustering confidence. As soon as I said this Rohit looked back and smirked at me. It took me everything I had in myself to not go and punch the living daylights out of him. I swear at that time the only thought that crossed my mind was 'I hate him!'
