Secrets
~Siya's pov~
After he agreed to come with me, we walked out of the art room together. We looked at the inside of the invitation where a list of all the teachers who were invited was given, and we had to go get signatures of the teachers who hadn't signed. We saw the first name and started walking towards where she usually sat.
After getting a few signatures I got bored of walking around the school. "Should we talk about something?" I asked looking at him for the first time throughout the whole walking time. "Ya sure. " 'does he only know how to say that?'
A few seconds of awkward silence later. "So, How's things with Ray?" He asked. "Eh wat?" I said as I widened my eyes. I didn't tell this idiot about Ray, or did I? No this is the first time I'm trying to have a normal talk with him!! Is he a stalker? Ew how.... Wait, what if my Facebook status is taken? Noo..Does he know how to hack or did Anna tell him? NO she won't, she can't.
"Earth to Siya!" He said, waving a hand in front of my face. "How do you know?" I asked him once I was completely out of my thinking daze. "Everybody knows." 'O right...HOW'
"How?" I said, squealing a bit. "Ya know.. Yash." He said, looking nervous that I actually might explode on him. "Oh."I said, calming down a bit.
~One year ago~
Wow, so this is how a complete shit hole looks like. Amazing, 2 more years to go. May the Panda lords above bless my poor soul. I thought as I walked around the school for the very first time. I was completely against the idea of shifting to Mumbai in the foundation years of my academic life. Who am I kidding? I was against the idea of shifting because was NOT ready to leave Ray and my other childhood friends.
My dad gave no bhaav to what I said and we shifted. I made my way to the classroom, it was still a while till the lunch break ended. I took out my journal and started looking through the previous entries I did when I was living in pune. All happy memories with Ray and other friends, where this one specific memory was always my all time favorite. "Hey, what are you looking at ?" Anna asked, as she came to the bench with her lunch box in her hand and sat down near me. "Nothing." I said, quickly hiding my journal from her. "Okay, Im going to the washroom, I'll see you in a bit." She said as she started walking away from the bench. . I quickly took out my journal and started speedily reading the entry as I didn't want anyone else to catch me reading it, but unfortunately for me Yash had other intentions.
He was the golden boy of the class, no teacher ever shouted at him and he scored the best in the class. The fact that he looked good was a sad thing cause his only hobby was to kiss every teacher's a**. He came to my bench and tried to start a conversation with me, but when he noticed that I wasn't paying attention and that I had something under the desk which had all my attention. He quickly went to the bench behind mine, grabbed the book from my hand and he took off. I ran behind him but I wasn't fast enough to catch up. Before the lunch break ended everyone in the school knew about Ray and Yash had a proud smile on his face. It really took everything in me to not wipe that stupid smile off of that ugly creatures' face.
~end of flashback. ~
"Riight." I said, the anger from back then returning. "He's fine. How's stuff with Leah?" He looked at me with his eyes wide. "How do you know?" He asked, very surprised, "I have sources." I said, looking at him playfully. I wasn't going to tell him that Sachin had accidentally blurted it out while talking to me. After a few signatures we were done with our jobs for the day. We decided to walk around the campus and then return to the art room.
"How did you propose to her?" I asked, and like all the other uestions I had asked he threw this one in the ignore pile as well. 'ugh why am I even roaming around with this guy? He's the most boring person EVER.' I thought to myself while we walked in an awkward silence.
"She was in my school in Australia." He finally answered one of the questions I had asked. "ooooooo" I said teasingly as the guy standing next to me started blushing. "I'll send her photo to you but you have to promise me that you won't show it to anyone else."
