My Light

The next day I was walking towards the big room where the board meeting will be held.

I was a little bit nervous after all this was a big step for me. I worked for my father since I finished college.

I know how the company works. I walked in the room and the meeting started.

After hour and a half I walked out of the room with a big smile on my face.

The meeting went perfect. I walked in my office and immediately started working.

My brother came to visit me during the day but didn't stay long because I had too much work to do.

I was so into the papers that were in front of me that I didn't even heard my brother and my two best friends walk in.

"Oh man this office suits you." Jacob Moore my best friend since kindergarten said while looking around the office like he is in Disneyland.

"It really does Ben I mean it's like you were born to do this." My other friend Frank Evans said while making himself comfortable on the sofa in the corner of the office.

Frank and Jacob were always there for me no matter what. Me and Jacob net Frank in high school and since then we were inseparable.

Along the way came Scott Jones the man who stabbed my back. At the beginning we were all friends but that all changed when me and Katie became couple.

Scott started to get jealous to us but he always said that the reason for his jealousy was because he wants to have what I have.

I guess in the end he got what he wanted the most. "Brother I think you had enough work for one day. We decided to go to Jack's came on pick your things and let's go."

Jack's was a bar that we always go for a couple of drinks. "Ok let me take my jacked and we can go." We drove and in about 10 minutes we were at Jack's.

We sat in the corner of the bar. We ordered our usual drinks and chat a little until I noticed a familiar figures walking in the bar.

I could believe ghat she got the nerve to come here with him and to make things worse they were walking toward our table.

All the guys stopped talking and were watching the couple walking towards us. In front of us stood Scott Jones and Katie Hall the two people that burned my soul down.

"Hi guys I haven't seen you in a while I hope you are doing great?" She said with the biggest smile on her face. I was shocked of how good of an actress she is.

"You are not welcomed here Katie so I think you should take your toy and leave" said my brother with anger. She just laughed and took a seat along with Scott.

"Excuse me I need to go to the bathroom." I stood up and walked to the bathroom. In there I washed my face with cold water and tried to calm my nerves.

After a few minutes I decided to go back and show them that I am strong. On my way out I bumped into someone and that someone was a girl.

She had a nice long wavy red hair. When I looked at her face she took my breath away. That girl was beautiful. "Oh sorry I wasn't watching where I was going."

She just nod and walked in the bathroom. I got back to our table but I was tired so I paid for my drink and left. I was surprised when I didn't find Scott and Katie at our table.

But on my way to my car I found them in Scott's car fucking each other. I got in my car and drove away.

I walked in my house took of my jacket, put the keys on the table and pour my self a glass of vodka.

I drowned the glass in one go I put myself another one and did the same. I loosened my tie and leaned my back on the wall.

All the memories came crushing on me and I just slid down the wall and started crying. I cried for everything and nothing.

After a couple of minutes my little brake down was over and I decided to go to bed.
