"I wish you all well as you start your life in college or your career. Congratulations to the graduating class of 1994!" Our principal said and we all stood up and threw our caps in the air. We cheered and I heard the claps of thousands of proud siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. I hugged Bianca and Sammi and they started crying. We were all going away to college soon and I would miss them so much.
We released each other and they started off towards their families. I yelped as I was lifted in the air and dropped back down. I looked over to see it was Shane and Rick and my parents smiling down at me. My eyes watered as I watched my mom start crying. I hugged her tightly and my dad reached over her and hugged me as well. "Don't forget me." I heard Rick say and I felt him press against my side. I started to cry slightly as they all released me and Shane pulled me into his arms.
Bianca's mom started talking to my parents and Shane leaned down and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss and I was surprised that Rick didn't see anything. Rick turned just as Shane pulled back and I was smiling. Rick pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. "I thought I told you to stop growing up when you were two. What happened?" Rick asked and I laughed.
I leaned into him and Shane wrapped his arm around us both. We said a final goodbye to my friends and we were off. We drive back to the house and I quickly got changed. I threw on my workout shorts and an old shirt and grabbed my pre-packed bag.
I walked downstairs to see the boys already had their bags packed and they just had to get changed. Once they were done we all threw our stuff into Shane's jeep and started off to Florida. It would take us about 7 hours to get there so I might as well take a nap.

I was shaken awake by the boys and they started laughing. "We are at a rest stop. You want anything. We are gonna switch drivers so stretch out for a bit." Rick said and I wiped my eyes and nodded. Shane snickered and went to the bathroom while Rick and I just stood up and stretched out. I wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep but Shane still wasn't back and Rick just started walking up to the bathroom. I sighed and walked down to the park area where you can let your dogs off the leash.
I saw a small German Shepard and I smiled. I had always wanted a dog when I was little but we never got one. There was a toddler running around and the Shepard was chasing it around. I laughed at the dog and he looked my way. I held my hand close to the ground and it came charging over. I smiled as the boy came waddling over yelling "uppy! uppy!"
I kneeled down and the dog came jumping up and licked my face. The young boy came over and started tugging on my shorts. He held his hands above his head and I knew that was the international way of saying 'pick me up'. I sighed and picked the little boy up and searched for his parents I finally saw a couple looking around worried and I started walking over toward them.
The husband saw me and showed his wife who put her hand on her chest. "I'm guessing these two belong to you." I said and the wife giggled. "Yea. Thank you so much. Sorry, he was on his phone and I guess he didn't see me walk up to the bathroom." She said and I noticed a strong city accent. "I smiled and nodded. "Oh it's no trouble. They are both adorable." I said and I handed the boy over to his mother. He started to whine and I smiled and played with his chubby arms.
I sighed and looked back up to see Shane searching for me and waved to the boy. "I should be getting back. They'll start to worry about me soon." I said laughing and she smiled. "oh of course. Again, thank you so much for helping us out. We're moving from New York to Florida and it's been rough." The man said and I smiled. "Oh jeez. I just graduated and I'm on my way to Florida too with my brother and his friend who are starting to frantically search for me." I said as I glanced up and saw Shane looking around with a worried look. "Well good luck and I hope you have a safe trip." I said as I started to walk back. "Same to you. Oh and congratulations on graduating." The woman called and I smiled and waved back to them.
I saw Shane's face soften as he saw me and I smiled. "Jesus, where were you?"He asked and I looked up at him. "Found a little boy and his dog all alone and went to find his parents. Turns out they are moving from New York to Florida and it's been stressful." I said and Shane snickered. "That little boy was cute. He could get into trouble if they don't watch him though. He walked right up and wanted me to pick him up." I said and Shane looked at me. "You did didn't you?" Shane asked smiling and I nodded. "How could I not. He was all alone and he was adorable." I said and Shane laughed again.
He leaned up against the car and looked at me. "You really want to have kids, huh?" He asked and I nodded. "Of course I do. They are adorable and It's awesome to think that it's your child. You made it." I said and Shane looked at me. He sighed and I knew he was thinking. "Tell you what. If your not married and/or don't have a child by the time your 35 then we'll do it." He said and I looked up at him. "Huh?" I asked confused and he giggled.
He glanced up at me and smiled. "If we are both single and don't have any kids by the time your 35 then we'll have a kid." He said and I looked up at him. I smiled and gave him a hug. "It's a deal." I said and he smiled. Rick came back and we all got back in the car.
We started driving but I couldn't think of anything other than Shane's offer.
