Story starts with a 19 year old Avni mehta who belongs to a middle class family from the small village called gangore in Maharashtra. she is working as a part time tutor in her village for money.

A big secret was hidden to avni by her father ,that's his uncleared debts from the dangerous money lender raghu pandit. Who's cruel and heartless. Later, When avni learns about this secret , she has to clear his father debts by hook and crook as her family and her house were under the sake of the landlord raghu.
