Chapter 34: Anything For You

Caitlin POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar room and something around my body.

I open my eyes to see a sleeping Shawn. I lightly smile, to see such a beast peacefully sleeping. Hearing his small snores, seeing his curly hair messed up and his roaring eyes closed. He's beautiful when at peace.

..well he's beautiful in general.

"wHOA..! Wait what am I thinking?" I ask myself.

Everything is fine, I didn't mean that.. right?

Anyways, moving on. I try to pry myself out of his bed so I can go home and face my "family" but Shawn holds me down and groans.

"Stay." Is all he manages to say.

"I can't, I have to go home." I stare at his face and he opens his eyes.

"Don't go, please? I need you here." He sadly said with a pouty look.

"Okay, but only for a while." I says and he nods.

Cuddling into me, he says, "by the way.. I love you too." And he drifts back to sleep.

"By the way? H loves me? What happened last night?" I thought as I slowly fell asleep.

Nicks POV

After Shawn took Caitlin to God knows where, I decided to finally work on how to get her on my side. I have asked Mike to come over to help me. (Who remembers mike?)

Once he got here I started to ask my questions.

"What do you have as a plan so far?"

"Well... not much." Mike replies in a low tone.

"Of course you do nothing and I do all the work myself." I sigh.

"I don't want to do this anymore, I told you. That isn't who I am anymore." He said.

"Screw you and your stupid change." I spat.

"No man, screw you. You can't have every girl you lay eyes on. If she doesn't like you so what? Find someone else." And with that, Mike stormed out of my house.

I will have her, he'll see.

Shawn POV

I wake up to see a beautiful face in front of me.

"Caitlin." I shook her slightly.

She made groaning noises and she moved around.

"Wake up."

"No." She said in my pillow.

"Alright, well I'm going to get a muffin." I start to get up as she shot up and looked at me.

"MUFFINS?!" She excitedly said.

"You can have one if you get out of bed." I smirked as I walked out into the kitchen, soon hearing her run down the stairs.

*THUMP*

"OW!" I heard her exclaim. I quickly run to the stair case to see that she had fallen on the floor.

I burst out with laughter.

"Yes haha.. I fell get over it." She sarcastically said and stood up.

I started to calm down and walked back to kitchen with her.

She had grabbed a muffin and started eating it.

"Didn't know you loved muffins so much." I said, grabbing one myself.

"They're only the best food ever! And cheese, I love cheese." She said taking another bite out of the blueberry one she was eating.

"I agree." I smiled at her.

She looked at me and had a sad facial expression.

"What's wrong?" I ask, putting my muffin on the counter and walking closer to her.

"I just... I don't want to go home." She looked at the floor.

"If you want," I paused and she looked at me with watering eyes. "You can stay with me for a while if you'd like."

She lightly smiled and nodded.

"But what about your parents?"

"Well, they're pretty much always on business trips and my little sister basically lives at her friends house but she likes to come home every so often." I say putting her muffin down on the counter and taking her hands in mine.

"I want you safe." I say and pull her into a tight hug. She wraps her arms around me and cries into my shoulder.

We stay like that for a while till I hear her sobs slow down. I pick her up and take her to the couch to set her down.

"I could go get some of your stuff for you if you'd like." I said tucking some hair behind her ear. She nods in response.

I get up to go get some of her stuff when she grabs my hand.

"Be careful." She mumbles while caressing my hand with her thumb.

"Anything for you."

I start walking to my front door and soon go to her house.
