Chapter 37

Caitlin's POV

I wake up to the sounds of birds and my alarm clock.

hitting it to turn it off, I realized it was Monday. Not just any Monday, the Monday Shawn, Nick and I have to go back to school.

I get up and decided to get dressed.

Black jeans, black shirt and my black converse. Pretty normal for me I guess.

I brush my hair before going downstairs, only to be met with Shawn.

"Morning, Shawn." I say kind of upset.

"Morning, England. You okay?" He asks while making some breakfast.

I sigh, "I guess."

Groaning, I sit on a chair at the bar and lay my forehead on the table.

"Someone's in a mood." Shawn chuckles and I hear a plate being set down next to me. "Eat up gorgeous, we gotta catch the bus in 15 minutes."

I look up and tilt my head a little bit.

He gives me a small smile and turns around to wash the pans he made my eggs with.

Did he just call me gorgeous?

I shake off the thought and eat my breakfast.

*time skip*

We arrived at school and instantly we were being stared at. The strange looks made me uncomfortable and I could tell it was bothering Shawn little too.

I grab Shawn's arm, "Hey."

He looks down at me..

"It's gonna be okay." I give him a small smile and he nods in return.

We start walking to the front doors till he says something.

"I'll protect you from that bitch Tory if you want."

Looking up at his tall figure, I say, "There's no need for that, i can take care of myself."

"Still, I will always be there." He smiles lightly and opens the door for me. Thanking him, we walk inside. Not realizing what we're about to come across.
