John woke up cozily next to his new boyfriend. He smiled adoringly at him as he got up and went to his own bedroom. He changed into a lovely green flannel and some ripped jeans. John's eyes widened when he heard a voice from the doorway.

"Hey there sexy."

Alexander. Of course.

John jumped and hit Alex with a pillow. "Were you watching me get dressed?!"

"Not at first. I came in here to ask if you wanted coffee, but I decided to stay for the show." Alexander winked.

John snorted and rolled his eyes. "You're such a perv."

Alexander dramatically gasped and wrapped his arms around the shorter man. "How dare you give such an accusation to your boyfriend?!" John couldn't help but laugh, "Shut up ya dork."

Alex let go of John and grabbed his back pack. "We should get going to class. C'mon. I'll walk ya."

John grabbed his things and linked fingers with Alex, squeezing his hand.

Alexander tenderly squeezed it back, and planted a little kiss to John's knuckles. "There. Now you won't die."

John couldn't help but giggle. "Of course I won't, dimwit. I'm immortal." He stamped on Alexander's foot, which he didn't happen to feel, and he continued on his way. He was proud to have Alexander as his boyfriend, so he puffed out his chest a little more as he walked, striding as if the world had no weight on his shoulders. Because it didn't.

Alexander laughed. "You look like a chicken."

John rolled his eyes. "Oh, shut it." He continued to walk, showing the world that Alexander was his, and that their hands fit so perfectly in one another's. That their love could not be broken, no matter how many sticks and stones it took.

Alexander just fondly watched his boyfriend, going along with it. John was really cute and quirky in his own way, and that was one of the infinite things he loved about him.

John stopped once they reached the marine biology classroom, and he gave Alexander a kiss on the cheek. "I love you," he softly reminded him.

"I love you, too." Alexander returned the kiss to John's soft lips.

John laughed. "Your kisses taste like strawberries. It's kind of sweet."

Alexander grinned. "Well, I always have unlimited kisses for you. They aren't going anywhere. Go before you're late." He winked

John winked back, giving a sheepish grin. Alexander managed to send his heart into a fluttery spiral every time he smiled at him.

He turned and headed to class. Yet.. the whole time, Alexander giving him all of those neck kisses last night was on his mind. He didn't want to say he loved it and he'd continue any time soon, but at the same time.. he wondered what would've happened if they'd taken things further.

He couldn't focus for the rest of the day.

Alexander soon picked John back up afterwards.

"Jacky, your face is so fucking red, is everything all good?"

John nodded. "Yeah.. I'm fine.." he mumbled.

Alexander shook his head. "Doesn't seem like it. Do you have a fever?" he asked, worriedly feeling John's forehead. He was hot to the touch. Of course, he was hot all the time, but that wasn't the point right now.

"I'm fine, Alex." John turned his head away. He didn't want to admit that he was having impure thoughts in mind. But still.. he was sure that those thoughts wouldn't cause him to feel so weak and lightheaded. He wasn't feeling good at all, now that Alex mentioned it. His brain ached and his stomach felt gurgly. He felt pretty naseous.

Alexander frowned and hugged him close. "Let's take you back.. you can lie in bed and I'll bring you soup, if you're feeling up for it. Just hang in there."

John chuckled weakly. "Alex, I'm not totally helpless. I'm fine," I promised. "But I think I'll lie down and nap for awhile." He tried to make it look like he wasn't shivering, but he was. He had worn shorts and a light tank top, covered with a loose sweater. The cold chill of the fall wasn't doing him any favors, either.

Alexander was pretty concerned. He swung John into his arms, and held him tightly to his chest to keep him warm. "Hang in there, love." He picked up his pace.

John groaned in response, shutting his eyes. He wanted to protest that he could walk, but Alexander's warmth felt so nice. Still, it wasn't enough. He was shivering.

Alexander set John on the bed once they had gotten to the dorm, and covered him with all of the blankets he could find. "Stay here, Jacky. I'll get medicine."

John smiled weakly at Alexander's motives. He was an incredibly sweet boyfriend, but medicine wasn't his main concern right now. "There's something else I want, actually.."

Alexander gazed right into John's bleary hazel ones. They were looking kind of dull, due to his state, but the same warmth was still there. "Yeah?"

"I just want you to stay with me."
