Chapter fourteen: The Power of The Coordinate

Asura hurled the flaming boulder at Reiner, who couldn't react in time and was hit by it. Asura then punched Reiner in the face, cracking the hardened skin on it. He then kneed the Armored titan in the chest, sending him and Bertoldt flying back. As Reiner was getting up, he saw Asura running from him. Growling, he ran after Asura, but he hadn't recovered enough to give chase. So he would settle with throwing things at Asura and the Scouts behind the Metal titan. The titans surrounding him and Bertoldt, would do.

-Meanwhile-

Asura turned to his team. He had managed to get Eren back, but he knew he wouldn't be able to fight Reiner with one hand. "Jean, Armin, get to the Diversion Team! Tell them we have Eren!" He ordered, "Right!" They replied, the two then rode towards Erwin and the Diversion Team. As they approached the end of the tundra though, a titan landed in front of the group. Asura stopped, before turning to the culprit who made a titan fly. Reiner. Growling, Asura turned to the downed titan and stomped it's head and nape into oblivion. He then knelt down and put Eren down by Mikasa. "You two stay here! I'll be right back!" He told them, "Asura!" Eren called out causing Asura to look at him, "Thanks. Both of you." Mikasa and Asura smiled, at least Eren thought Asura was smiling. "You can thank us once we get back to Trost." Asura said, he then charged at Reiner, who was now throwing titans wildly. Asura grew his knuckle spikes and started punching the titans thrown at him. Eventually, he grabbed on by the ankle and cocked his arm back, his unwilling projectile flailing uselessly. "Will you knock that SHIT OFF!" He roared throwing the titan in his hand at Reiner, Reiner was about to throw another titan, when he was hit by titan Asura threw at him. The titan exploded when it hit Reiner. Reiner was knocked back a few feet, before he managed to stop and stand up. He then spotted Asura, charging towards him. Bertoldt got on the back of Reiner before the Armored titan charged at the Metal titan. The two collided, sending titans flying away from them. Asura then kneed Reiner, before grabbing his arm and throwing him over his shoulder. Reiner then kicked Asura in the chest, which made the Metal titan stagger back a bit. Asura then punched Reiner in the face, chest, and stomach. Leaving cracks on his body, and shattering Reiner's face armor. Reiner then punched Asura in the face, but Asura recovered quickly, and punched Reiner in the face again. This time caving it in. Reiner's skull healed quick, but what he saw Asura doing shocked him. (That stance...) he thought, Asura's left leg then started glowing, and he used it to take Reiner's head clean off. He had used Annie's fighting style against Reiner. As Reiner's headless titan form fell to the ground, beaten for the time being, Asura headed back to Eren and Mikasa, but he then heard an all to familiar roar. (Zeke.) He growled in thought, sure enough, Zeke's titans appeared on the battlefield. Asura spotted the Diversion Team falling back, as Asura looked at them, he noticed two things; there were fewer of them now than before, but that didn't surprise him. He knew better than to expect a clean mission with zero casualties. And two, Erwin was injured. That surprised Asura. Erwin was still miraculously conscious, but missing his right arm. Asura heard footsteps behind him, and out of reflex, punched the titan behind him. That's when he noticed that his team was in trouble as well. Several titans had gotten their hands on members of the Rescue Team, and one familiar looking Smiling titan was heading to Eren and Mikasa. Asura cursed himself for his lack of awareness, and tried to fight his way back to his team. But despite the Metal Iran's strength, even he could be overwhelmed. Just when Asura was about to be dragged down by the sea of titans, his eyes suddenly changed from red to blue. Holding his hand up, all the titans stopped what they were doing. "Put. Them. Down." He commanded, the titan obeyed, and put their would be victims down. Asura then turned his attention to the Smiling titan, who had just finished eating Hannes. He then pointed at it. "Kill it." The titans all turned their attention to the Smiling titan. And they weren't the only ones. Somehow had unconsciously done the same thing Asura was. The two groups of titans pounced on the Smiling titan, and proceeded to tear it apart. By the time they were done, all that was left of it was bloodied bones, guts, and gore. Reiner had managed to regenerate his head, and noticed Asura's change in eye color. (Dammit, of all the people out there, Asura and Eren are both Coordinates! Well, now we can't let them get away! ASURA!) Reiner thought, Asura, hearing the footsteps behind him, turned to face Reiner. "Kill him." He commanded, the titans under Asura's control, then turned and looked at Reiner, their blue eyes making their gaze unnerving. They then charged at Reiner, who was suddenly beset upon by Asura's titans, and had to defend himself and Bertoldt. After the order was given, Asura's eyes changed back to their natural red. His eyes then widened when he saw the titans that attacked him and his team, were now attacking and overwhelming Reiner. He then turned and began to run back. (I don't know what happened, but good riddance.) He thought coldly, he then joined his retreating comrades in returning to Trost. However, Asura and Eren had much to think about what they both did. Turning to look at Reiner, Bertoldt, and Zeke were fighting off Asura and Eren's titans. But by the time they were done, their quarry was long gone.
