Chapter 14

I woke up the next morning feeling like a sore loser. I brushed my teeth tied my hair and went to the gym. It became my routine for this few days. I put my focus solely on my dad. I have not spoken to Henry since that unfaithful day but he has been staring at me when we all eat at the dinning table.

I told Crystal that we broke up, but she already knew since long-eared Tyler overheard us and told her. I didn't care because it saved me lots of explaining.

"Hey Suzie," Crystal called as she walked up to me, I smiled at her.

"Tyler needs you in his office,"

I frowned "Okay, let me freshen up." I wondered why he wanted to see me because he has been coped up working in his office.

I knocked on his office door.

"Come in," I heard his deep voice from inside.

I opened the door and stepped in, "You wanted to see me," I said as he looked up from his laptop, he had a stubble that made him look mature and handsome, his hair looked like... Shut up Suzanne.

"I've made my decision," he said looking at me.

"About?" I asked clearly confused.

"The condition am giving you." He said standing up and working towards me. Towering over me.

Uh-oh.

"And?" I asked already getting irritated. I folded my arms.

"I want to mark you as mine," he said looking at me straight in the eye.

I gasped, "Am not a property you can own." Looking offended.

He was clearly not bothered by my outburst. He took one more step invading my personal space. I had to lift my head to meet him eyes. Stupid tall person.

"Your already mine, like it or not, I won't impose anything on you when you decide we will move on, your choice."

Son of a biscuit. I had to do this, for dad. He turned towards his desk and I grabbed his may I say muscle packed arm 💪.

"Fine," he turned and raised his eyebrow as if asking if am sure, I nodded. I know he won't impose on me but I also know he wants to use the mate bond to his advantage. We will see about that.

I looked at him as he came closer. Pushed my hair aside and leaned down,his breath fanned my neck making me shiver in delight. I felt his fangs prick my neck, it was painful then the pain was gone. He licked the place his mark was and I almost moaned.

Suddenly I felt a surge of energy build up within me. My eyes glow darker green and I pulled Tyler towards him and sunk my fangs in his neck marking him.

Yes I said it fangs!

He looked shocked,the air suddenly smelt of forest and something so nice I couldn't place, I felt light headed and passed out.

I still can't believe what happened. Even though her parents were not humans I taught she was. I looked at her flushed cheeks as I laid her on her bed. At least one step has been completed and she will be affected by the mate bond as I am and everyone will know she is mine. I smiled and I felt my wolf jumping with joy. Can't blame him.

I went back to my office and thought about my beta's report concerning her case, I asked him to investigate. He didn't find any body in her house and digging through the police reports with  one of my pack members in the police department, the police was not aware of the deaths.

This is clearly a setup and I must find those behind this.

I already have a hunch.
