Suzanne

I heard a knock on my door.

I ignored.

Knock again.

Still ignoring...

Knock again.

Why won't it go away.I poked my head out the door and sighed when I saw Tyler.

"What do you want?" My eyes looked puffy from crying. It's good he saw me. He made it this way.

He grimaced when he saw my face.
"Em, dinner?"

"No."

"Me neither,"

He stood at my doorstep looking at me expectantly.

"Can I come in?"

"No,"

"Please?"

"No. Please let me be"

"Let make it up to you, please"

"Fine, come in." He smiled as I let him in.

We sat on my bed. The distance between us was killing me but I was furious with him. I know he did it for me but it was still wrong. I find it very hard to forgive and forget.

I rather forget to forgive.

He sighed, stood up and knelt in front of me holding my hands.
"Am sorry Suzanne, I will never keep anything from you again."

That's it, my heart melted.

"Promise?"

"Promise." He smiled and pulled me close to him. Wrapping his arms around my waist and I leaned on his chest.

After sharing the comfortable silence. He spoke up,"So...why did you slam the door twice?"

I looked up at him but he only appeared amused, I laughed."I tend to be very dramatic when am furious and also I wasn't sure you heard the first one, I was also imagining it to be your head."

"Well, I heard them both loud and clear. And you love me to much to do that." He chuckled softly and kissed the top of my head. I knew it was just a comment, then why was my heart beating wildly.

"What's that on your neck," he inspected my neck with suspicion.

I strained to look at my neck then replied,"Oh, some idiot gave me hickeys," I said nonchalantly.

"What?" He shouted and growled.

"Yeesh! My ears, you are the idiot Tyler," I rolled my eyes.

"Better...." He stated pleased with himself and smiled at me making me feel hot and bothered.

We stood up to go to the kitchen when someone knocked.

I opened the door to see Crystal. "Am sorry, please don't be mad at me, it's between both of you right?"

"Right." I smiled and opened the door for her to see Tyler.

"Oh hi," she greeted him.

"By all means continue your chitchat," he frowned.

"Well she's your mate, you guys can always settle it, but poor me." She said making a lame attempt to push the blame back.

"Ok, this is getting weird, let me not bother you guys, keep bickering while I head to the kitchen."

They followed me to the kitchen, teasing each other as we ate.

"When we were little, Tyler saw an ant hole, he suggested we kill them but I refused,he ran room and brought matches and petrol. He lit them on fire and claimed he could hear their little screams for help, we argued about it for days." Crystal accused.

"I know what I heard, you were not the one burning them were you?" Tyler insisted.

"Oh puh! Give it up will you."

They both rolled their eyes."Well, you didn't tell her how you saw a dead butterfly and begged it to stay with you, giving it mouth to mouth and.................................
