Chapter 30

Heavy silence hung in the air. I guess everyone was watching us, nice party huh? And am the guest of honour.

I heard footsteps and Tyler's scent came closer.

"Stop there or I will kill her and nobody moves or even talk," I felt something sharp on my neck. A knife? This is rich. What else? An axe?

"That was not the plan," I heard my father say, wait! what? Father? It keeps getting better and better. Note the sarcasm.

My heart pounding against my ribcage, I was sure everyone heard it, perhaps it was even louder than their voices, my heart sunk, outrage replaced my doubt.

"Henry please don't do this," I pleaded.

I felt his breath on my face and I tried to turn my head away but he grabbed my jaw, hurting it with his fingers.

"This was not my plan in the first place, you were a means to my victory but you became something else to me, you are the prize for my victory and I don't intend to let you go."

I shivered in disgust.
"You are just a pathetic sick animal and you will never ever have me, I'll rather die,"

He chuckled,"You don't know half of it, you guys may like to grab a space on the ground because it will be a long night," he laughed.

I was hurt emotional and physically the silver on my wrist were really doing their work, I was angry with my father.
"Henry, stop this madness," Tyler said tightly.

Henry added pressure on the knife, I felt blood seep down my neck and winced.

"I said don't talk! Your family caused this, They banished my father because of sexual harrassment, We went away with my mother."

"That was a choice your father made," Tyler tried to reason with him.

"Shut the fuck up! I was born a rogue, I swore to avenge my father before he died from illness, I met my mate she didn't want to help with my mission, I killed her, that made my wolf die. I heard Falls was retiring, I seize that opportunity. I killed his wife and threatened to kill his daughter if he doesn't join forces with me, that was why he staged his death."

I inhaled sharply while others around gasped. He chuckled enjoying our reaction.

"I called my men as fire men, I called them to attack at my house, I drove to your territory and pretentiously crashed into the gate, I burnt those trees to know the strength of the security team here, I sent those attacks to determine strength and weakness, that was how I learnt of your powers. I drugged the prison guards and got information from that traitor West. I was always watching, and I will be the new Alpha of Lunar pack. With Suzanne as my Luna."

He grabbed my waist, I felt myself hauled into his chest. I renewed my struggle, I was angry, betrayed, in pain. But my struggle only seemed to incite him.

I heard Tyler's loud growl from a distance. My poor Tyler, this must be hard on him.

The knife was removed from my neck as he grabbed my hair, I pulled my head back, but he yanked my hair, I cried out in pain and he forcefully kissed me putting his tongue in my mouth, I bit down on it hard and tasted blood. He pulled away and grunted, I spat out and moved back.

Then I felt something hard hit my face and I tripped fell down hitting my head and hands on a rock, blood trickling down my nose. I heard a scream from the background, possibly Tyler's.

I felt energy running through my body and that's when I realized that when I fell, my power bracelet broke.
