I opened my eyes to white walls. The strong scent of disinfectant in the air, the perfect stench of a hospital, Why am I here? Memories of yesterday night flooded my mind. I shot up from the bed with force and immediately regretted that instantly as my head pounded. I held my head and a familiar scent hit my, I looked up to see Lola leaning on the door frowning at me.
Lola? How is that even possible.
Unable to form words, I watched as she approached me and smacked my face.
Ouch
"Lola, what's wrong with you?" I yelled holding my burning face.
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you?" She yelled.
Uh oh
I knew she was upset I kept all this things away from here but I did it to keep her safe.
"I am sorry, Lola,"
She sighed and hugged me tight, I gasped for air and she released me.
"Kill me will you," I teased.
Crystal and Tyler walked in. My heart accelerated when I saw him, he smiled at me, taking my breath away.
"So, that why you refused to come back home?" Lola asked sizing up Tyler.
I blushed. He looked at my face and frowned.
"What happened to your face?" He asked coming closer to sit at the edge of the bed.
My hand instantly went to my cheek, "Oh, it's nothing, I just have a best friend sane enough to slapped someone in a hospital bed," I said glaring at her.
Crystal smiled and Tyler growled.
"Whoa, protective much?" Lola asked grinning mischievously at Tyler.
"I like her already," Crystal said laughing.
"I didn't bring you here to slap her, if she needed that I would have done so myself," he teased.
I hit his arm as they laughed. The door opened and an elderly man in white walked in.
"Good day everyone can I please speak with my patient?" he asked with a kind smile.
They grumbled as they walked out."You can stay Tyler," I said.
Lola gave me the finger and Crystal glared at me, I smiled innocently at them.
Tyler closed the door behind him.
"You are pregnant," the bomb dropped without any preamble.
I paled and opened my mouth shock, I looked at Tyler who had the same expression on.
"Yes, few days pregnant, I hope your prepared because you must reduce your stress level for the sake of your child, you can go home now, but come back tomorrow, I need to discuss some things with you." I nodded as he left.
I was too scared to look at Tyler, I didn't even know what to say or think. He sat beside me and pulled me in his arms.
"We're going to keep our baby right?"
I looked up to see him smiling down at me, I smiled and hugged him.
No words needed to be said,we had our silent agreement.
Tyler drove us home where we delivered the news to everyone, they were so happy. West congratulated me but keep his distance, he understands that am not one of his fans, and it will take a while to warm up to him.
I explained everything that happened to Lola, and she was shocked beyond measure.
I had no regrets in killing Henry but the way I killed him made me scared of myself.
We sat around the table eating and laughing but there was something else I needed to do.
