TWO DAYS AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT

So far, everything was fine. Authors were writing their manuscripts, editors smiling as they type away at the their keyboard. Everyone was having easy time getting their deadlines.

Everyone who hasn't in the Emerald department.

"WHERE'S SAITOU'S MANUSCRIPT?!" Takano yelled as Onodera slammed his work phone down.

"SHE 'S WITHHOLDING IT BECAUSE SHE WAS PROMISED AT LEAST TWO WEEKS TO FINISH IT!!!" Ritsu yelled back.

"TELL HER WE NEED IT IN BY FRIDAY OR THEY ARE CANCEL THE PROJECT!! TWO DAYS NO MORE!! IF THAT HAPPENS, THEN SALES WILL BE ON MY ASS!!" Ritsu typed her number and called back. "TAKAHASHI, HOW MANY MANUSCRIPTS AND STORYBOARDS ARE MISSING?!" Misaki scrambled around his desk that was covered in discarded papers before finding his list.

"We still are missing Chiharu's and Satou's storyboards! And Ichinose-sensei's and Saitou-sensei's manuscripts are missing." Misaki said and Takano nodded before turning to Hatori, who was on the phone with Chiaki.

"Hatori, make sure Chiharu is working on her storyboard! She's already behind schedule!" Takano yelled and Hatori hung up the phone.

"Chiharu just said she faxed the storyboard to us." Hatori said and Takano nodded.

"Good Takahashi, grab the storyboard for Hatori!" Takano yelled and Misaki jumped out of his seat.

"Yes sir!" Misaki said and  Kisa groaned as he holds up a paper.

"Could you also copy this for me?" Kisa asked and Misaki nodded, taking the paper as ran over to the copy room. Onodera groaned as he slammed his hands on the table.

"Saitou, I'm sorry that the deadline was pushed but please try to have it done by Friday evening!" Ritsu pleaded.

"No! You and Takano-san promised I would have two weeks to finish and I will have those two weeks for manuscript that was approved three days ago! So as far as I'm concerned, this manuscript is due next week!" Saitou yelled in Onodera's ear and he groaned.

"Saitou-sensei I understand, but the president has moved all upcoming deadlines to this Friday since the company building will be closed all of next week." Ritsu said.

"I REFUSE, FUCK YOU ONODERA!!" She hung up and Ritsu's eyes twitched and Misaki, who just came back in, noticed how everyone backed away from the dark aura that was forming around Ritsu, he dropped the phone as he got out of his chair.

"Excuse me for a few minutes." Ritsu snared though his teeth and he walked out of the department, Takano frowning.

"Takahashi, Get Saitou-sensei on the line! I'll be right back!" Takano yelled and Misaki vigorously getting right to it as Takano walked out to the break room, where he found Ritsu vending for coffee. "How are you doing?" Takano asked and Onodera groaned in despair.

"Isaka-san is going to be the death of me, that's how I'm doing." Ritsu said before opening his can, only to having his eyes widened as Takano pulled him into a kiss. Takano smirked as Ritsu frowned when Takano pulled away. "Okay were you really checking up on me or were you finding an excuse just to kiss me?" Ritsu asked and Takano chuckled.

"Both, plus I wanted to talk with you." Takano said and Ritsu nodded.

"What is it, Takano-san?" Ritsu asked and he blushed as Takano grabbed his hands.

"Well since we are officially dating and it's going to be stressful the rest of the week, I was wondering if I could come over tonight and make you dinner. You know, as our official first date. What do you say?" Takano asked and Ritsu smiled shyly as Takano kissed his temple.
