Chapter 5

The next morning I wake up to a very upset Tanith.

"Why the FRICK is Meryl here?!?! You were suppose to come to New York!" Tanith screams at Charlie.

"Tanith, she hit her head on the ice. I wasn't there to protect her. You don't know what it's like to get a call saying your best friend has been hurt on the ice. You don't know how much I love her. She has no remembrance of Sochi. So just lay the hell off! I know you are my girlfriend but you don't need to be a leech! We are over. I can't be with you anymore!" Charlie says.

"It's about time we broke up. I knew you loved her. I thought it would pass but it didn't. Goodbye Charles." With that I hear a door slamming.

I walk downstairs quietly. "Hey..." I say gently. "Hey Mer! How are you feeling?"

"I remember something. We were supposed to go to the olympics...right?" I ask Charlie. He just nods. I have nothing to add so I try to help cook.

"No. No offense but you aren't a really good cook." He pulls me away from the stove, I laugh. And them the flashback begins.

The dances are coming back.

"And the winner of season 18 of Dancing With The Stars is...... MERYL DAVIS AND MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY!!"

Charlie lifts me up on his shoulders.

"Meryl, you did it!" He said happily. "No Charlie. This is ours. For another step in our journey. Another bump we over passed. For being best friends. For us." I reply and ruffle his hair smiling. Maks is also now holding me as well. I keep getting 'congratulations' from everyone.

I won the mirrorball.

"Charlie! I remember Dancing With the Stars!" I scream. He comes to pick my up and spin me around. "I'm so glad!!" He smiles and kisses my forehead.

"Okay here time to eat. While you eat I am gonna take a shower." And he walks into the bathroom.

A lot of y'all think that this is the /main/ plot but to be honest it's not. This is kind of the side line plot. There is a lot more to come! My mind is spinning with ideas!!
