Chapter 11

Charlie pov

I walk into the house. Maks is now carrying Meryl, she happened to fall asleep in the car but, nobody blames her. She's still not fully recovered but she continues to push through things. I really wish she wouldn't though. It is so unfair that she has to be put through this. She is so beautiful, kind and generous.

"Maks just set her in our room. " I say as Maks walks in. When he comes back out he and Val stand side by side. "You have done such a good job taking care of her." Val compliments me. "Thanks. I try, I love her so much."

"We can tell. I will phone in the pizza. " Maks speaks with a thick Russian accent. "Thanks, Maks. Charlie, so will you and Meryl be willing to come back for the finale to dance together? I know you're busy with coaching and she's recovering but you don't have to do any lifts." Val pleads. "I'll talk to her about it.."

"Talk to me about what?" Meryl walks about with her hair in a bun. She still looks half asleep and very pale. "It's not important right now. Here drink this." Maks, who just walked in, throws Me Meryl's water bottle. I hand it to her and she gulps it down.

"I hate being out of the loop." Mer gives a pouty look and I kiss her lips and pull her into my lap, were she nuzzles into me. I stroke her hair as Maks puts on a movie.

The pizza arrives and we all go to the table to eat. Maks and Val are staying in the guest rooms. We eat quickly and Meryl and I trudge to bed. "Baby girl, I love you so much." I tell her as we drift off into a dreamless sleep.

I find it amusing how fast I can update when I'm tired.

Like everything is so clear.

I'm really looking to get feedback on this stuff. I'm trying to make it interesting without making things happen to fast, but as you can tell it is a fast pace story.

Everything will be happening quickly or else it would be like 100 chapters long and that's just waaayyy to much work am I right?
