All Tatum could think about was his fuck ups with Nyla. Honestly he didn't even know why he did what he did with Kilo. She just played her part heavy as a distraction to all his frustrations. He loved Nyla and he didn't want to hurt her in the least way but it's like his past always jumped on his fucking back and took him to his old ways.
He had moved out their condo, letting her keep everything in it and he got a small apartment on the other side of town. Luckily Nyla wasn't like no hood rat ass bitch who would take away his rights to his child and he seen Kinlei as much as he would when they were a family. Nyla would drop her baby off, say hello, then be on her way. He truly fucked up and he didn't know if there would be any returns.
"What's up bro?" He said to Monty as he walked into the tattoo shop.
Monty gave a brief head nod as they walked into Tay's office.
Though he was a grown ass man, there was no denying that some sort of nervousness shot through Tatum's body. He hadn't spoken to Monty or Kaylin for that matter since the breakup. He knew how hardcore Mon was about his girls so Tay tried his hardest to keep up a normal look on his face.
"What's good?" Monty asked as he sat slouched in the chair.
"Ah ain't nothing man. Just working."
"Hmm." Was all Monty said.
He wanted to skip all the small talk and just beat his ass like he told Tatum he would from jump but he liked Tatum for his lil sis truthfully.
"You hurt her. You hurt her bad man by doing the shit that her ex did and what you promised you wouldn't do. I coulda came here with brass knuckles on and told yo ass to square the fuck up but she loves you and me & Kay like you for her. You went half on my niece so I'm not gon kill yo ass like I want to for the sake of her. I bet you didn't even know the night she left she came crying to my front door and even then something told me go beat that fuck nigga ass but the look on her face told me to chill. I guess what I'm tryna say is fix shit and fix it quick because you my boy and I like you for her so I'd hate to have to fuck your world up over her." He stood to his feet and left without another word.
Tay sat there with his head in his hands thinking on how he would fix shit.

"You good?" Amari asked Olivia as she laid back on the table in the hospital room. She smiled and gave him a brief nod. She was finally three months and growing like crazy. Her hormones was at another level often tempting Amari to leave her ass but he couldn't do that even if he wanted to. His heart was with that girl.
"How bout you? You good?" She mocked him with a chuckle.
"Yo tank head ass got jokes I see." He said as the doctor walked in the room.
"Good afternoon, parents. How are we today?" Doctor Guntree asked with a smile.
She was the regular physician of Olivia.
"Hey. We're good." Amari said speaking for the two.
"Alright so the tests we ran looks good. Baby bean is growing at the normal rate right now so obviously Amari has changed your diet finally." She teased.
"He has. I'm eating a lot of green shit." Olivia grimaced.
"That's a good thing for your baby. Good job Amari." She said with a playful wink to the handsome young man.
"Ok so I think we can do some ultrasounds today to print out for the grandparents then we'll send you on your way."
Minutes later, their healthy baby was displayed over the screen causing Amari to tear up a little bit. He had cried in front of Liv before so his tears wanted her heart to see it was for their baby. She was so grateful for that man and would lose her mind if anything happened to him. Like she would literally go crazy. She loved him that much.

"Hi mama!" Nyla cooed to baby Kinlei who babbled at her mama's face.Tatum's parents kept the baby for the weekend. Angie wanted to talk to Nyla to see how she had been. They talked on the phone all the time but Angie wanted a face to face this time.
"Hey." Angie said with a smile as she hugged Nyla.
"Hey mama."
"How you doing?"
"I'm good." Kinlei played in her mama's tight curls.
"Let's have a seat in the dining room." Angie suggested as Nyla followed behind her.
"You sure you're good?" Ang asked.
"I'm honestly fine. I told your son that I would be fine if he did me wrong. Yeah I'd hurt in the beginning but I'll be alright. It's nothing new in my life to be hurt. I hate to say it in that tone but I've been through a lot in relationships. I suffered a miscarriage while I went through a breakup the same day. I cried out for my ex and he told me it was just my period during pregnancy and that I would be fine. I wasn't fine. I lost my baby and my sanity that day. I promised myself I would be fine without a man in life as long as I had Monty and Kay.
Tatum came in my life and I tried so hard to not fall for him but I did. The way he opened up to me was like no guy had before. No other man wouldn't even tell me about their mom abusing them if it had happened but Tatum did and he waited on me until I was ready. I loved him. Shit I still do but right now I'm not going to lose myself like I did with X. I just wanna focus on my baby, my business, and myself. He can see his child whenever he wants to because that's not in me to be petty but me? I'm done."
Tears welled in Angie's eyes. She had never heard the story of what happened between Nyla and X until now. Nyla was a strong woman and Tatum truly fucked up.
