CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

After three more auditions I got the part of Genevieve!! I'm excited because this is my first acting role as a lead character on a show.

The show is on HBO it's a twelve-episodes one hour series the great thing about being on HBO is that the show pushes limits. I was offered a nice salary for a new actress the great part about the show is that it's filmed in LA.

We shot the pilot last week and I'm excited to see how the world receives the show, it's a romantic comedy with some drama we tackle huge issues in entertainment on the first episode Genevieve is put in a comprising position by a casting director he offers her a job for sexual favors. Although I've never been put in that situation I do understand it's so many woman who deal with sexual harassment in the work place.

Hopefully, people love the show I'm glad to be working with Brandon he actually got the part as my main-love interest Nathan, he's a professional and it's dope filming with him our first day onset we had to shoot a lovemaking scene it's a little awkward not because of Brandon but it's at least ten people in the room filming and watching it's so weird.

Chris and I have been working on my album we're almost done with half of it were really pressed for time because he's going on tour in a few weeks. Plus I have a deadline to submit the album and I have to be onset twelve hours a day I'm being spread thin by the time I get to the studio I'm burnt out mentally and emotionally.

Since the infamous Breakfast Club interview I've been getting DM's from different brands and some artist reached out to me wanting me to work with them which makes me excited. But social media is a blessing and a curse in college I had done a radio show it was a focus group of other black girls on campus and we talked about everything from music to politics.

And on the show we played fuck, marry, kill I guess you could see where this is going.

I was given three celebrities Trey Songz, Michel B. Jordon and Chris Brown my overzealous ass said I'd kill Trey Songz, Smash than marry Chris I remember being extremely intoxicated we were drinking a lot we were talking shit for two whole hours. I went on and on about how I'd smash him but I said some crazy shit at one point I said I'd sit on his face. Okay she was on one that night.

Not only did I get smoke from Michel B. Jordon fans because they are ruthless but now black twitter is calling me on my shit they pulled out receipts I swear some of these folks on the internet could work for the FBI because they are really good at digging. They found questionable photos of us during my moms charity event they even found some videos from the party we had back on the first day of the tour with chilling poolside, to me it wasn't a big deal we weren't cuddling we were just sitting close to each other, I didn't even realize people were recording.

I guess the cat is out the bag at this point but that's not even the worst part Mina is subbing me on social media she posted a picture of the three of us backstage during the tour with the caption "BE CAREFUL WHO YOU CALL YOUR FRIENDS".

This post really had her fans trolling my page calling me a hoe and even the hashtag #HOLÉ
I just ignored the drama and rumors it would die down in a few days something else is gonna happen and nobody is gonna care.

And I can't continue to ignore this chick we're gonna have to talk woman to woman because we were never friends we only spoken twice and both times weren't friendly exchanges.

So I don't know where she gets the impression that we are friends but I know better she's trying to put the public on her side it is what it is, but I gotta put all the foolishness behind me because I have a album to work on and I already won I got the man what the fuck should I be mad about?

After our little fight Chris and I have been on the same page for the most part and we've set boundaries between one another, a relationship like ours is still very new to him he's still working though the kinks he's so use to doing what he wants with Mina he could talk to other chicks he could have sex with other girls as long as he was open and honest about what he did she didn't care. I really dont understand how somebody can be okay with that no wonder they didn't last.
