flashback : 

Carter and Megan were sitting at lunch lounge 

megan : "guess what i found..?"

Carter : "no thanks " she plays with the fork

Megan : "i'll read you something from it anyway" 

Carter : "try it" 

Megan opens the book and shows her some pages 

Carter : "it's in french"

Megan : "i know" 

Megan : "The beast of Gevaudan. Listen. "A quadruped wolf - like monster, prowling the Auvergne and south Dordogne areas of the original riverdale during the year 1764 to 1767. La Bete killed over a hundred people, becoming so infamous that the King Louie the 15th sent one of his best hunters to try and kill it."

Carter : "Boring.."

Megan : "even the local church in riverdale eventually declared the messenger of satan , they knew that riverdale is corrupted so they burned the church along with the town" 

Carter : "still pretty much boring" 

Megan : "Cryptozoologists believe it may have been a subspecies of hoofed predator, possibly a the devil himself" 

Carter : " slipping into a coma , boring "

Megan : "while others believe it was something more powerful and stronger , someone who could change looks and could shape - shift in a normal man , in fact he was taking people to their own non-ending hell , and suffering" 

Carter : "any of this has to do with the Blossoms , Peterson's or even the Alcotts ? because i think the families are already twisted and evil enough. already"

Megan : "kind of the older Petersons , were always into hunting does not matter whether it was an animal or a person but once it was an actual person , it was a Blossom ... he was that monster" 

Carter : "i am pretty sure he was not a turning monster - they just mistaked him for a monster , that is what happened" she had some salad in her fork and then put it in her mouth playfully 

megan turned the book to carter to let her see the picture , it a was a picture of something she now in present saw , her face looked terrified ,she looked away but she even saw more of the book .. 

Megan : "intrigued?" 

Carter : "Fairy of the death/galvanize???"

Megan : "yeah , that is a girl mostly, they mostly also refer her as the person that is "surrounded by "the" death" or also "fairy of the death" 

Carter : "why?"

Megan avoided the topic 

Megn : "do you want to here about fireflies instead??"
