the A's cabin party

In the blink of an eyes the Friday had passed and saturday fell upon the town of riverdale  , For most people in the town it was a normal saturday but for the teenagers it was the first important party of the year (not including carter's "in"famous birthday parties) and even the calmest of them was rocking on the balls of their feet in anticipation

sometimes after noon the APCs gathered together at the Allcott's home to finish any last set up , hiding away priceless vases and things Mr.s Alcott would be devastated to lose. By four girls were all gathered up in Lily's room getting ready together

Carter : "how many people do you think will arrive tonight?" Carter asked while licking ice lolly  

Cheryl : "i don't know 150, 200 maybe? we don't have that many more students than at Riverdale , maybe 300 , so we should expect at least half of the student body no less" cheryl replied 

Carter : "i don't remember being this nervous last year" 

Lily : "but you were , you don't remember you had two NON-alcohol drink and then you came to James room and then passed out you were such a lightweight" the brown haired girl laughed remembering the moment 

Carter :"i'll be sure not to do the same this year, i want to remember being nervous" 

After several more minutes of the conversation and fussing over hanging strings and earring , backs the doorbell rang , the four looked at the clock showing that it was sixty-forty-five fifteen minutes early 

Megan clasped with her hands with a excitement 

Megan : "football players, always the first to come and the last to leave"

Carter:"should we go down now? "

Cheryl looked at her friend and shook her head 

Cheryl:"no we don't go until seven . The boys can handle their friend for fifteen minutes" 

Carter sat on Lily's bed watching the clock anxiously for fifteen minutes, just waiting for seven, but when it finally struck seven on the dot Lily was flinging her door open and the four young ladies were making their way downstairs to the party.

Forty-five minutes later and the house was packed with Riverdale teens. Drinks were flowing, music was blasting and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Carter was standing in the kitchen with Jason talking to Reggie and Moose when through the window she saw the group of five making their way up the path to the Alcott's door. She quickly excused herself, fully intent on meeting them at the door. 

Jason : "Hey Polly" He said and did not even bother to look at her 

Polly : "hey jason" she said softly 

Carter came back and she heard the conversation , so she had the fire in the fuel... 

Carter : Wow that talk you two had must make this really awkward." Carter blurted out looking between the two of them.

Jason : "Carter , maybe you should slow down on the drinks." Jason said trying to reach for the half full cup in her hand

Carter : "no , and i think you talk too much and where's Moose? she quickly jumped to another topic 

Jason : "Downstairs with Reggie, we're going to start playing suck and blow once everyone is nice and drunk and Reg wanted a good spot." He explained where the two had disappeared to. 

Carter :"Well , then, you all better drink up." Carter then walked out of the kitchen and down to the basement.

Almost an hour later and everyone was gathered around in a circle, Casrter standing to the right of Jason, who was well past tipsy but not quite as far gone as the girl beside him, his arm around her shoulders as they waited for Lily to explain the rules so the game could start.
