Chapter 19
It was a few weeks later. Zimed and Claira hadn't seen Angel since the day they got Claira back. But that was only in the back of their minds now. They were with each other now. They were by a lake, sitting down beside it on the ground. Zimed wrapped his arms around Claira's waist, keeping her close to him. Claira had laid against Zimed's chest. They both were staring at the lake. There was a rustle in the bushes behind them. Claira and Zimed looked at each other and smiled. They had a feeling that they knew exactly who it was.
"We know it's you Angel," Claira called out.
He walked out, laughing a bit, and said, "Dang. Those bushes tipped me off, huh?"
"Yup," Claira and Zimed said in unison, laughing a bit themselves.
Angel say down infront of Claira and Zimed, criss-cross style. He smiled.
"Thank you. The plan went so perfectly they didn't suspect me," Angel said.
"No problem. But is that all you came here for?" Zimed asked.
Angel looked away and mumbled, "They won't give up though. I'm just warning you. Be careful. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you two."
"Ok. Thank you for the warning. I'll keep it in mind. So will you be staying or will you disappear for awhile again?" Zimed asked Angel, curiously.
"Yeah... I have to go soon... Or they'll suspect something is up..." Angel said, rubbing the back of his head a few times.
"That's fine. But I hope to see you again sometime soon, Angel," Zimed said, nodding his head a few times.
Angel stood up and smiled. "I just hope the next time I see you two... I'm not assigned to do something..." he said, more to himself.
He ran off into the woods. Claira and Zimed went back to how they were before Angel had came.
At some point while they were looking at the lake, Claira fell asleep in Zimed's arms. He noticed this and waited until she was in a deeper sleep. Before he picked her up and brought her home. He laid Claira down on her bed and took off her shoes for her. Zimed covered Claira and kissed her forehead, before going home.
