Chapter 4
"We have to do what?" I exclaimed.
"Oh this is gonna be good," Nalia laughed.
"You know what, I will gladly volunteer to do this one. I mean, surely running through the country club on 1st street in only my underwear will gain me some cred with the ladies right?" Jay chuckled, as he stuck out his chest.
"Oh you'd definitely get attention," I muttered under my breath. Then a thought struck me.
"We don't all have to do it right?" I hesitantly asked.
I prayed that only one or even two of our team members had to do it. I was only barely comfortable with the idea of even participating in the Sevenger. I sure didn't want to make a debut in less than the clothes I was wearing at the moment. Especially not in front of a bunch of rich, old people.
"Relax Mac. It's just one person and I've already volunteered so you're off the hook. But one of you still have to record it and you both have to be in the video at some point. That's the rules according to the text," Jay said, scanning his eyes over the text on his phone.
"Okay. I can do that," I nodded.
"Guys look at this," Naila suddenly said, thrusting her phone in front of Jay and I.
I watched a video of what looked to be four high schoolers trying to jump a fence. That's when the camera zoomed out and I saw it wasn't just any fence, but the fence to the country club.
"Shoot! I forgot that it has a fence. You can't get in unless you have a key," I sighed, reaching for my long, phantom hair.
The video continued with a security guard chasing them out of the country club and ended with one of them getting stuck on one of the fancy emblems on the fence.
"Is that Stan and his crew?" Jay asked, squinting his eyes at the video.
"Yeah," Nalia said, moving her phone back to where she could see the screen. "They're just crazy enough to be in first place."
"Dang! We better go then," Jay said, walking in the direction of the car with Nalia and I hot on his tail

I stood outside of the country club with apprehension, fear, and a whole lot of doubt. There was no way we could get inside. As if security wasn't tough enough at places like this, between the stunt Stan and his team did and a tip they apparently received right after, security was tighter than normal.
"So what's the plan?" I asked from my hiding spot behind a conveniently large bush.
"We go in, you get a video of me running through the place in my boxers, we leave," Jay said, peeking out from behind the tree he was tucked behind.
"Yeah, but how are we going to do that?" I asked again, looking over at Jay.
After a moment, he smiled and replied, "No sé...But we'll figure it out!"
I was about to freak out on him like any good friend would do, but he suddenly made a run for it. A couple was exiting the back door of the country club when Jay suddenly appeared, acting as a door greeter, holding the door for them and wishing them a lovely night.
I was shocked. Out of all the things I thought he was going to do, that was not it. His competitive nature took hold of his actions at times like this.
"Well that was cool," Nalia said after a minute of us sitting in awe.
"Well now what are we going to do?" I asked, my heart rate speeding up with each passing second.
