Episode#6:
   Myself, Anju and Minu were like kith and Kin with no secrets hidden among us. I was a very good and a professionally trained singer. My friends used to encourage me so much. Even i had fan followers in my class. I was asked to sing in every free hour we had. Veer was a very big fan of my voice. He used to suggest many songs in the class and asked me to sing the same. Every body got surprised seeing the smile on Veers's face when he heard my songs. Pappu also had a great music knowledge. We used to pair up and sing many duet songs. We sang a duet song for the Inter college fest and won first prize. That song was a mass hit during that festive season. One fine day, we 6 as a gang went for dinner. As it was our second semester, we were allowed for outings. That night, Arjun proposed Anjali that he wanted to live his life with her. He was very genuine about his desire to have her as a good companion for his life. As Anju also had a liking for him from their school days, she accepted his love immediately. They made an awesome pair in our college. Ranjith, Gautham and Minu drank that night. Arjun and Anju went for a night ride. I was accompanying the other three with a bottle of coke. Unfortunately Veer and his friends came to the same restaurant. Noticing Veer's arrival, Ranjith and Gautham went to his table started talking. Veer noticed me and gave a gentle smile. That time i was not scared as my friends were there around me. I smiled back at him. Ranjith and Gautham were completely drunk and i was not able to control them. Thankfully Veer's friends took them to their room. I was not able to handle Minu all alone. Veer helped me to hire a taxi and made Minu to lie on the seat. "Thank You Veer..I ll take care of her anyways.. Thanks for the help..". "Meera, its not safe for you girls to go alone in taxi at this time, I will also accompany you. After you get down, i ll go in the same taxi to my home". "Thanks Veer. So kind of you". "So Meera, Why are you getting scared looking at me?". My heart skipped a beat when i heard this from him. I had no other go but to talk to him back. "No Veer..Not like that..I am not afraid to see you or to talk to you. Its been only few months that we joined, also that I talk to everyone in our class normally and the same in your case too. You are similar to all other friends of our class". "So, Meera, You are a great singer. I love your voice so much..". "Thanks, Veer". "And your smile too..." he added. I was like.."What is happening here Meera"...I was not comfortable talking to him..". "Thanks Veer..for the compliments..", I tried to smile and prayed that it shouldn't seem to be a fake one. I managed somehow. "So..?Meera? ..Can I ask you something if you dont mind...?". My legs started to shiver. "Yeah Veer..Please go ahead...". "Can we be friends? Will you talk to me in the way you talk to your other friends?. I wanted to know more about you. I feel that we should spend more time together. I usually do not talk to girls much. But I dont know how and why i wanted your friendship. You are a very nice person i have ever seen. You Sing so well and i do not know if that is the reason for me liking you".He shook his hands to me. "Already You are... Veer.." I shook my hands back.. with all shivering me. I prayed God that Veer should not sense my scary feel on him. "Good night Meera.. Take care..."...."Good Night veer".
