"Hi Meera.. so I know what you are going to talk about..I will tell you everything now..". " Yeah Pappu..please tell me who did all this to you and why?..". "Meera, I dont know how much you are going to believe this and how are you going to take it up..As myself and Ranjith warned you earlier, Its all Veer who did this to me..He told he loves you so much and asked me to convey that to you". "What...", I asked Pappu with shock and angry mixed feeling. "Meera, calm down..listen..I warned him not to do all these things to you and I told Veer that we both are committed. I told him that we are in a relationship from our school days. So he made his friends to attack and injure my body like anything. If you people wouldn't have been there that day, I would be no more now. That much wounds they made to my body and made me ill physically and  mentally". "Pappu..But why did you tell him that we are committed?". " I dont have the strength to slap him and throw him away from you. I told this, just that I can protect you from him atleast. I didnt know what to do on this. It is ok Meera..to get hurt and to save you from such a devil rogue.". " Pappu..I dont know what to say now..but why did you lie..what made you to lose your peace and get into such a worst situation, to save my life...I should have listened to the words of  you and Ranjith. Now..you are in this situation..for which the complete reason is only me..me and me ..I am sorry for everything Pappu..I am feeling guilty extremely..this is because of the blind trust that I had on Veer..see you are hurt now". Tears rolled out of my eyes on seeing Pappu, a great thing that he has done for me. "Just a thanks would not satisfy me Pappu..such a heart full soul you are..I mean this..and you mean a lot to me..as always.. Thanks a lot Pappu..". " No issues Meera..But how are you going to put a complete end to this problem..we should get a permanent solution for this". " I will stay away from him Pappu..let it be as such..let him believe that we are committed..let things get settled..then we will discuss with our friends and decide further..". " Ok Meera...and...". " Yeah Pappu..". " Nothing..its getting late..we will leave...Happy Birthday Meera..My advance wishes..". "Thanks Pappu"..with a fake smile with all guilts, we left . I was worried and did not sleep that night. I was thinking about the same things. Anjali soothed me that no mistake was Pappu and me.." It was all Veer..who did this to you Meera..Pappu was innocent  while he was even  clever to save you from such a threat. A very nice person by heart. It was not necessary to pledge his life and save you Meera..a very good person..we have to do something for him..". " True..Anjali..without Pappu..I would have not stayed atleast this strong..from my childhood days". Happy Happy Birthday Meera..all my gang mates came running towards us. It was 12 o clock night, I cut the cake. We all played well with cake , water, eggs and tomatoes. We all had a great fun that night. Finally when Pappu was about to leave, I thanked him again for everything. "Happy Birthday Meera..and anything for you..my pleasure", Pappu left..we girls returned to our team.  I was with all smiles. " Anything for you Meera..Its my pleasure" Anju and Minu started to make fun using Pappu's words. "shut up girls...", we all laughed and turned back to bed.
