Pacific Soul - Episode #8

Episode #8:
Good times with crazy friends makes great memories. It was one fine day we went for a party. We danced, sang and had fun to the core. We all spent our money in the party while only Arjun had a wallet full of cash with him. So by eleven o clock, we decided to go for dinner and went to a nice 3 star hotel...had enough of food along with our regular chitchats and laughter. Bill was around 4000 rupees. Everybody waited for Arjun to take his wallet and pay the bill. Unfortunately Arjun missed his wallet in the party. We were done for the day and started to panic. Anjali started crying badly. It was the moment, when waiter was nearing us, all of a sudden, Minu fell down and got fits. I was shocked seeing Minu in such a poor condition and on another side waiter was standing near us. We pleaded waiter that Minu should be taken to hospital. Waiter was also scared to see Minu in such a bad condition and allowed us to go out without asking the bill. We hired a taxi and took Minu to hospital. Suddenly there was a loud sound of laughter. Surprisingly it was Minu and her mastermind that planned to cheat on the waiter and escape from the problem. she was smart enough than everyone in our gang. Even Gautham and Ranjith believed that Minu was not well while Arjun and Anjali were able to sense that. I also belonged to those innocent creatures list. Minu became the smart drama queen of our gang. We were making fun of that situation and the way Minu handled it. We were walking towards our hostel. There was a tree under which we saw a set of guys attacking a single person brutally. Quickly when we ran towards the tree..we saw Pappu who was attacked by few rowdies over there. Arjun and Ranjith fought with those guys and rescued Pappu. He was bleeding heavily with injuries all over his body. Tears rushed out of my eyes. "Oh Pappu..what happened? Why were those guys attacking you?". He managed to stay concious until we took him to the hospital. We had no clue on this as Pappu had no enemies from his childhood. He was such an innocent and pure soul who would not think bad even for non living things. He was taken to ICU. We pleaded the doctor not to reveal anything about this to our college as we wanted to know the truth behind this incident. Pappu was taken to operation theatre after two hours of observation. All of us stood fingers crossed as it was only prayers which had power to save Pappu that time. Even in this situation, my mind was cribbing about the reason for such a bad situation of Pappu as he was my dear most bestie from my childhood. Minute by minute our prayers turned deeper. That complete night we did not sleep and waited for the doctor to inform us on Pappu's health. Sometimes we need someone to simply be there, not to fix or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel that we are cared much and supported. All six of us did the same to Pappu as we had nothing to give him other than love and care. We were waiting for the doctor's arrival out of operation theatre
