It's almost 4pm and I'm still on the ground. I didn't take out my phone and use it. At all. I eventually got tired of looking around. Not gonna lie, I was feeling kind of sleepy. Before I knew it, my eyes started to close.
"Don't fall asleep outside of my room, idiot." I heard her say through the door. My eyes opened, "how do you know what I'm doing?" I asked. "I've got security cameras outside of my door." I didn't respond but purposely started to attempt to fall asleep even though it seems really sad to think and look at.
-My eyes opened and I was covered with a comfy blanket. "You've finally woken up." I looked around and saw that Jiyeon was sitting on a chair by the corner while I was on a bed. I immediately stood up. She slowly stands up too, her arms crossed. "I'm impressed you're still here. Still not convinced though."
"What are these vibes you keep talking about." She suddenly went silent. "You keep rambling about these vibes, are you sure it's not an excuse?" I stopped when I realized that I was raising my voice slightly. "Why would I make an excuse about these types of things! It's overly messed up and I can't even sleep at night because of it."
There was silence. "Has there ever been a moment where something has happened due to your 'vibes'?" I quoted with my fingers. She looked away and slowly nodded, her lips slightly pouting.
Jiyeon slowly sat down on the bed and formed into a ball, "can we not discuss about this?" Her voice went soft. It was like a small whisper.
I realized that the topic was vulnerable to her. "Can you just...leave me alone for now?" She said. I slowly nodded and left the room, closing the door behind me. "I told you, mr Shin." The same maid said as concerned filled her face. "I'm..going home." I said.
"Tell mr Lee that I'll be texting him." I grabbed my things and left the mansion. It was getting quite late. I walked towards the nearest bus stop and rode a bus.
-I walked inside my apartment exhausted. I dropped my things and dropped myself on the couch, groaning loudly with my hands massaging my temples. "I'm so tired." I told myself. I switch the TV on and hope that I could fall asleep listening to the news.
"Today, a church has been burned down." I start to doze off to my own world, wondering what could have happened to Jiyeon that made her react that way. Do you think she has the same problem as me? No. I don't think so.
Maybe she lost someone? I honestly don't know and I don't think it's right to go straight to assumptions. I decided to sleep it off.
-I opened my eyes and saw that my apartment was burning. I started to look around and saw that there were multiple fire trucks parked outside and people were screaming with tears. "MY BABY IS STILL IN THERE!" A man made eye contact with me and walked towards me, pulling onto my collar.
"DUMB BITCH YOU DID NOTHING TO SAVE MY DAUGHTER!" I looked away as he pulled harshly, yelling his lungs out as I avoid his eyes. A woman held onto his arm, "Honey, stop." The man pushed me away as his eyes glared at me. "This is all my fault." The man goes on his knees and bursts into tears.
The sirens start to get louder and louder, and eventually I woke up.
A dream has never really hit me that hard. I looked around the room and the TV was still on. That dream.. felt so real. It really hit me because that's what I tend to do.
Since death revolves around me, I can't control it. I'm the one that causes the calamities. It's all my fault. And what do I do? Walk away. Its absolutely weak.
And as usual, I start contemplating the entire night and end up not sleeping.
