I've been throwing up everything.

The medicine they are giving me makes me sick.

Just keep going Mina, they say.

You won't have to do this for much longer, they tell me.

I don't know how to be strong anymore.

I can feel myself slipping away.

"Mina~"

He was playing with my fingers, interlocking them with his, holding them and kissing them.

He's gotten less nervous around me after that night.

Like he doesn't need to hold back anymore.

He still manages to make me laugh, even when nothing else can.

I like that.

He sighed and dropped my hand, taking on a more serious tone.

"It's at noon in three days?"

I only nodded.

"Ah..."

He raised his eyes for a moment, stuck in thought.

"I'll be able to get here from school just as it ends, probably."

He tried to hide it but I saw that fear in his eyes.

"It's so soon now."

He looked down, taking a deep breath.

"Everything will be fine, I know it. Just bring Hope along and wear the necklace."

I softly laughed.

"Those will help in the surgery?"

He smiled.

He smiled the sweetest smile I have ever seen.

"Well, all the love I have for you is in the necklace, and if fate brought us together it surely can't separate us."

"Oh."

"You're blushing, Mina."

He giggled.

"Ah, I guess I am."

I put my hands up to my cheeks, feeling the heat emit from them.

He laughed and put his hands over mine, cupping my face.

"You're so cute."

Thank you, Hobi. For making me smile even when I feel afraid.
