"One more step..."

My foot hit the ground.

I smiled.

"There you go!"

The nurse let go of my arm.

She patted my back.

I sat back down in the wheelchair.

"When can I walk again?"

"With the progress we're having, it'll be in no time. About two weeks maybe."

I nodded.

I want to walk up to him.

I want to hug him while standing up.

So, I'll practice walking everyday.

No matter how hard it gets.

"Are you ready for your lunch, Mina?"

"...Oh."

The nurse only smiled encouragingly, before taking the handles of the wheelchair and taking me back to the room.

"You'll be out soon, you know."

"I will?"

"Yes. What happened was... it was a medical miracle. You'll be here for two more weeks tops."

I felt my heart jump up and down.

Finally I was back in the room, sitting in the same bed.

I played with my necklace, watching the hands of the clock tick by.

Right until he opened the door.

"Mina!"

Hobi quickly came to me, immediately wrapping his arms around my body.

"Ahhh I'm glad I'm here now."

He rocked me back and forth, buying his head in my shoulder.

Then he let go and sat down on the bed.

We just talked.

I like it when we do that.

He always has something to tell me, always knows how to make me smile.

I like that about him.

But we stopped when the nurse came back, tray in hand.

"Ok Mina, you've waited as long as possible."

Hobi glanced back and forth between me and the tray.

"You haven't eaten, have you."

"...No."

He got up and took the tray from the nurse, before sitting back down in front of me.

On the tray was a bowl of soup, with rice and kimchi.

He put some of the rice and kimchi on a spoon, and held it up to me.

My stomach flipped and I turned my head.

"If you eat it I'll kiss you."

I looked at him, feeling my cheeks turn red.

He only smirked.

I then reluctantly parted my lips, letting him feed me the rice.

He continued feeding me the soup and rice, until I felt dizzy and told him to stop.

I had eaten a little more than half.

The most I had eaten in days.

He set down the spoon and leaned closer.

And our lips touched.

He kissed me softly, cupping my head in his hands.

He felt familiar, but still caused butterflies to flutter around in my stomach.

He smiled.

"Thank you, Mina."

He whispered that.

I'll cherish every moment with him.

Every moment we've had,

And every moment we will have.

I can't wait to get out of this room for good.
