As we were relaxing under the tree, we hear a little voice yell

???: "A doggo!!"

We look over and we see a little girl pointing at us and pulling her mom's arm towards our direction.

???: "Sweetheart, don't bother these two. Their relaxing."

I smile and get up. Bear gets up with me and we head towards their direction.

Y/n: "Hello there. Do you like dogs?"

The little girl nodded her head vigurously. I smiled and bent down to her level.

Y/n: "You can pet him if you want? Or if your mom is okay with it?"

The little girl looked up at her mom, sparkled in her eyes and she grinned widely. Her mom sighed and nodded her head. The little girl squealed and petted Bear.

Little girl: "What's his name?"

I smile at her and say

Y/n: "Bear."

Little girl: "Why is he called Bear? He is a dog."

I giggle at her and say

Y/n: "Well, he loves bear hugs. And he loves letting people hug him. Do you want to hug him?"

She nodded her head and she hugged Bear immediately.

Little girl: "He's so fluffy I'm gonna die!!"

I giggled at the little girl and I look up at the mom and she smiles at her daughter.

The mom looked at me and smiled sweetly.

Little girl's mom: "Thank you."

I stand up and smile at the mother.

Y/n: "No problem. Bear is a good dog and he really likes attention."

Little girl's mom: "Sara has been a hyper little bunch and I really need something to get her mind off."

I smile at her daughter and then get a brilliant idea.

Y/n: "Do you live around here?"

Sara's mom nodded her head.

Sara's mom: "What are you implying?"

I smile at her.

Y/n: "Since you live around here, and since she really likes my dog. I can watch over her. Like, if you have work, or date night. I can watch her and entertain her."

Sara's mom looks totally and utterly on board.

Sara's mom: "That sounds great! How about next weekend? I have a little business trip and I was actually looking for a babysitter. But now that I have one, can you watch her next weekend?"

I nodded my head.

Y/n: "Of course! She is so adorable and I would love to hang out with her more."

Her mom smiles brightly (and totally relieved) and looks at her daughter, who is running around, laughing and giggling because Bear is basically chasing her. Like their playing tag.

Y/n: "Also, where do you want to meet? My house or yours?"

Her mother things for a moment.

Sara's mom: "I think you're place would be fine. Well, actually, that depends. Where do you live?"

I tell her my address and she smiles.

Sara's mom: "We live two blocks down from you."

Y/n: "Really?! Sweet! So, my house then?"
