We Meet Again

The Ride (Part 2)

As I end the call with Carrie, I sighed. I looked over to Y/n and she was just having the time of her life. Laughing and smiling brightly and goofing around with Jaiden and James.

She's amazing. But I don't want her to get hurt like John.

I feel like breaking Carrie's face but I know that I can't. It's illegal. Duh.

I sigh and head over to them. Ready for the plan Carrie told me to do. And my heart breaking at the same time.

*End of Adam's POV*

*Y/n's POV*

Y/n: "Who was that Adam?"

I see his face morph into disgust.

Adam: "Why are you asking?"

I widened my eyes.

Y/n: "W-What?"

I hear him snicker and roll his eyes and face the others and his back turned towards me.

Y/n: "O-ok?"

I feel hurt. I just hug myself and walk away from the others.

Jaiden: "Y/n!"

I hear her but I just hug myself tighter and run away. Feeling the tears stream down from my face.

I remember the time I dated this one guy. And he treated me like shit. And the way Adam acted. Reminded me of how my ex was before the...abuse.

I open my car door and drive back home. Bear running to me and I just fall to my knees and hug him. Sobbing.

*Jaiden's POV*

I see Y/n go into her car and I turn towards Adam.

Jaiden: "WHAT THE HELL?!"

I started to launch myself at him but James grabbed a hold of me.

Adam just rolled his eyes and walked into the carnival again.

Jaiden: "What the hell got into you?! SHE IS THE PERSON YOU LOVE ADAM!!!"

I see he stops slightly turns around but shakes his head and continues walking away.

James: "What's got into him?"

I look at him and we looked perplexed at each other. We look back at Adam, fading away into the crowd.

*Adam's POV*

As we pull up into James drive way, Jaiden immediately gets out of the car. I close my eyes and exhale slowly.

James looks at her and then turns to face me.

James: "Adam. We know that you might not know what happened to Y/n while you were in Cali. But what you did back there. Was a crappy move."

I know it was, I just don't want her to be hurt. But. What happened to her when I was in Cali?

I snicker and roll my eyes.

Adam: "Whatever. See ya Jameson."

I get out of the car and head over to my place. As I closed the door, I fall to the floor. Hugging my knees and having my head rest against the door.

Adam: "Why?"
