We Meet Again

The Ride (Part 1)

Carrie: "UGH!!"

I throw my phone across my room. I run my hands into my hair.

Carrie: "F*CKING WHY DID HE BLOCK ME?!"

I couldn't help but be PISSED in this moment. I was going to call him and you know...the usual.

Mom: "NO SWEARING!!!"

I flinch at my moms words.

Carrie: "Sorry!"

I groan and flop onto my bed. As I was thinking, this one idea lingered in my brain.

I smirk and grab my keys and my phone and head to the Apple store.

Clerk: "So, your new phone number is (her phone number)."

I nod happily and say

Carrie: "Thank you!"

He smiles and I leave the store. Ready to get this show on the road.

*Adam's POV*

As me and Y/n were getting ready to go out with Jaiden and James, I get a call from an unknown number.

Y/n: "Who's that?"

I just shrugged at her and we both look at the phone perplexed. We look at each other and we shrug. I answer the call and put it on speaker.

Adam: "Hello?"

???: "Hi! Is this Adam?"

I raise my eyebrow and Y/n furrows her eyebrows with a confused face. I smile at her and answer

Adam: "Yes?"

I hear a little squeal and me and Y/n hold our little laughs. Y/n and I know that it's probably a fan who found my phone number.

Adam: "Who is this?"

The name made me and Y/n stop holding our laughs and instead made us freeze.

???: "It's Carrie."

HOW IN HELL DID SHE CALL ME?! I BLOCKED HER!!!!

I sigh.

Adam: "Bye Carrie."

As I was about to hang up she screamed

Carrie: "WAIT!!"

I pause and Y/n raises her eyebrow.

Carrie: "L-Look. I-I'm sorry for everything I've done. I-I was just mad. Y/n didn't call me for a week or two and I felt betrayed. She was my best friend. And I still see her as my best friend. I f*cked up. I didn't mean to say what I did. I was just angry."

I her hear sniffle a little. I look over to Y/n and she was... perplexed. I sigh at her.

Adam: "It's wasn't okay Carrie. The things you've said and done, aren't right. And the things you've done to ME makes me concerned if me and Y/n are even safe around you."

I hear Y/n let out a breath. Ready to hear what Carrie is going to say.

Carrie: "I-I'm sorry. For what I've done to you. I was blinded with love. I just...didn't want to accept the fact that you moved on."

I hear her sigh.

Carrie: "Besides. I don't see what I used to see in you. I just see a cool guy. With my best friend. Happy. And that's all I ever wanted for you and her. You both deserve happiness."

I look at Y/n and... she is...in disgust. I know exactly why.
