We Meet Again

Explaining

I gulped as I see Adam actually have tears form in his eyes.

I look up at the ceiling as I just relax. I can just lay here and... relax. When I'm next to him. I'm fine.

Adam: "Y/n?"

I look at him.

Y/n: "Yes Adam?"

He starts to have tears stream down his face.

Adam: "I can't have you end up like John."

His voice cracks. I look at him questioningly and ask

Y/n: "What happened to him?"

Adam gulped and his hand grabbed mine and he intertwined his fingers with mine.

Adam: "Carrie. She...she..."

He started to drift away with tears and sadness losing him in his thoughts.

Y/n: "Hey. I'm here. I'm here."

I carefully wrap my arm around him and hug him.

Y/n: "It's going to be ok."

Adam huff's out breaths and calms down.

Adam: "I-I saw what Carrie would do to someone that would get in the way of what she wants."

I scrunched my eyebrows together.

Y/n: "What do you mean?"

He looks at me in the eyes and says the most chilling thing in the world.

Adam: "She would murder someone to get what she wants."

I widened my eyes and let go of Adam. I get off the bed in a shock. I start to pace the room and pant with anxiety.

Y/n: "She would go that far? Just to gain something? She is a psychopath Adam. I don't want you to get hurt."

He just scoffs and tries to sit up. I rush over to him and immediately lay him down.

Adam: "I'm, ugh, fine. Don't worry about me."

I rolled my eyes and made him lay down.

Y/n: "You need to relax Adam. You got into a terrible accident. Ok?"

He sighs and nodded. I smiled.

Y/n: "I have one question though."

Adam looked at me, basically telling me to continue.

Y/n: "Why and how did you get into that accident? And after that, tell me what happened to John specifically."

Adam sighs.

Adam: "When you sang the song I suggested to you...I..."

He spaced out for a minute and then continued.

Adam: "I felt the emotions you must've felt when I put you through basically hell."

I scoffed and sat on the edge of his bed.

Y/n: "You have no clue. I wouldn't eat and all I did was just lay in my bed."

Adam snickered.

Adam: "Yeah. I know. I can tell before. You looked so lifeless."

I chuckle and look down at my feet.

Adam: "But you know. When you were suffering. I was suffering too."

I looked up at him and he was just staring at the ceiling.

Adam: "I was basically trying to convince Carrie that I "loved" her. But...I know. I still love you."
