The next morning was harder to get out of bed since I was sore from practice. When the time reached 6:10 A.M, my alarm began buzzing and I just stared at it hoping my mind would shut it off. To my luck, my sister barged into my room and banged her hand on the clock.

"You're my motivation to move the hell  out of this house you know that? That stupid alarm has been going off for 5 fucking minutes straight, are you dumb?"

She walked out of my room and slammed the door shut behind her. From across the hall I heard her slam her room door and then everything went silent.

About 10 minutes later I decided to get up. I already sacrificed my time to eat, I cant waste anymore time.

I limped to the bathroom and turned on the water in the sink. I washed my faced and then grabbed my toothbrush and added some toothpaste on it. I ran it under the water and began to brush my teeth. A couple minutes later, I was out of the bathroom and back in my room looking for some clothes.

I threw on a plain T-shirt and some camo shorts and my Timberlands. I grabbed my bag off the floor and made my way downstairs.

My mom was on her cell phone in the living room and she looked stressed. It was probably a business call. Anna was in the fridge salvaging for food.

"What? No breakfast today?"  I joked and I received a sour look from her.

"Maybe if you didn't wake the whole house I would've made you a bowl of cereal."  She grabbed the milk and added it to her bowl of Special K chocolatly delight cereal.

I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed an apple off the fruit bowl that was on the counter.

"If  you're getting a ride Kevin you better come now I'm out the door." My mom yelled from outside.

I gave a half smile to Anna and she rolled her eyes and smiled back at me. I walked outside and got into my mom's all white Ranger Rover.

We were pulling out of the driveway when she noticed Jazmine stepping outside of her house.

"Oh I didnt know she lived here. When did she move in? God it's been ages since i've seen her."  My mom said.

I just looked out of the window for a minute then I replied. "She moved in yesterday. It's not that serious though so can you just not make a big deal out of it."

When I realized that she never replied I looked over at her. She had a smirk on her face and before I could say anything we were parked in Jazmine's driveway.

"What the fuck??"

My mom laughed and stepped out of the car and walked over to Jazmine's house. I sat in confusion in the car as I watched her from the side mirror. I couldn't hear what she was saying to her but I sort of figured it out when I saw my mom returning with Jazmine by her side smiling.

They both entered the car and Jazmine greeted me with a loud HEY KEV. I really hated when my mom tried to be funny.

I put on my earphones and began to listen to YG and closed my eyes.

Majority of the morning was a drag. My body was sore and I was falling asleep in almost every class I had.

It was finally lunch time and I was excited to try and find Brittney. I stepped into the cafeteria and walked over to the taco station. I grabbed a couple of bean burritos and a few soft chicken tacos. I grabbed a blue Powerade and then walked over to the table filled with my brothers.

When I finally got in my seat, Ricky was arguing about a play that was made during practice yesterday. He thought that James, the captain, was making all the wrong calls. Usually I would be in these kinds of fights but I was just exhausted.
