Chapter 12

Lisa's POV

I saw jennie lying on the floor, her eyes were closed and I can see that she was shaking, she was shivering.

What have you done lisa?

I approached her immediately then tried to wake her up.

"Jennie" I said as I tap her cheeks. Dried tears were visible.

I'm so stupid.

I lifted jennie up and was about to lay her on the bed when she stirred, she opened her eyes quickly then was shock, I guess because of me.

"D-don't touch me!" She said while she aggressively push me. I hold her tighter and finally laid her on the bed. She moves backward then bury her head to her knees.

While me, I was just standing in front of her. I don't even know what to say until I heard a..

'Sob'

"Jennie, look at me" I said to her then sits in front of her.

"J-just don't touch me. I don't even want t-to see..hik.. your..hik.. face" she answered between her sobs

I know it was breaking to see her like this.

"Then listen to me" I said soflty to her.

"what do you want?" she replied and finally look at me, Gahd, she was sobbing mess. I'm so so so stupid! Call me what you want! I deserve it.

"look, I know why you are like this, I know it's my fault. But please, don't be like this jennie, I can't stand seeing you like that" I said to her then I moved a bit closer to her trying to wipe her tears but she flinched.

"No! Please! No don't touch me!" she almost yelled, "you can't stand seeing me like this but you have the guts to.. to be with another woman" she said, her voice croaking

"lisa, please, stop being dense. you're breaking me" she utter again and cried loudly this time

"jen" I said then stared at her, "are you..tired?" I continued not removing my gaze to her

"what are you trying to say lisa?" she asked, "are you trying to turn the tables!?" she yelled

"calm down, please. I don't want our daughter to wake up because her parents are having some argument" I replied to her, "jennie, I'm not turning the tables" I continued and saw a tear rolled down on her cheeks again

"I heard your phone call with jisoo yesterday" I utter then averted my gaze to her, "I didn't eavesdrop, it just happened that I heard it" I continued

I saw jennie furrowed her brows then there's a silence between us.

Flashback (Yesterday, Phonecall)

Lisa was at the bathroom to shower, they were about to sleep.

Lisa then goes out of the bathroom with her bathrobe then drying her hair with towels when she heard jennie, talking with someone.

"yeah, I asked her about Ella's birthday party but she said that whatever I want, I'll just do it"

Is she talking about me?

"I don't know jisoo unnie, it's like lisa doesn't care"

Definitely me.

Jisoo unnie..

"yes unnie, we're okay, I guess?"

I let them talk and get dressed with pyjamas when I suddenly heard jennie saying..

"Unnie, I'm getting tired"

End of flashback

I saw jennie widen her eyes. I guess she already remembered.

Are you blaming me when I punched bam because of that "dump jennie" thing?

You got it wrong.

I'm doing it for a reason.

"It's okay jennie, I understand" I muttered, "and yes, you're tired" I said and my tears just rolled down. My voice we're cracking.

Jennie saying she's tired was the last thing I will imagine she'll do.

Oh damn, It was the most breaking words she ever spit.

"Lis, what are you saying?" She said, shocked and worry was visible at her tone

"Jennie, I'm not dense. Did you even ask me if I was okay? Being this forgetful person? Did you ever ask me if I'm getting tired of myself? Because it was hard, it was hard to imagine that this," I said pointing my forefinger to my chest while crying "this person in front of you, forgets you? And your daughter? Jennie, my memory was worst right? I'm stupid!" I utter, voice were cracking

"Jennie, i understand if your tired" I uttered while crying silently

"lisa, it's not what you think it is, please, listen to me first" she said and cried harder

"no no please, don't tire yourself even more, hush jennie" I replied then smiled sadly

I moved closer to her then hugs her, tight, "I'm sorry if I don't remember anything, I'm sorry if I make you feel unimportant, I'm trying jennie, but I guess, it's was so long for you to wait" I said while caressing her back

"no.. p-please don't say that" she said then buries her head into the crook of my neck.

I pulled away then looked at her "I'm sorry, do I smell different?" I chuckled lightly, "I have to be honest, yes, I was with another girl a while ago, and yes, we drink, but I never think of cheating" I utter, she's still sobbing

"Jen, look at me" I said to her and cupped her cheeks "did I make the situation this hard? Hmp" i smiled, "please don't blame yourself whatever happens, okay? I'm sorry if I will say this just now to you after the accident, but jennie, you're amazing, you're amazing person. you're beautiful. Why did the accident happened again?" I asked jokingly and chuckled "please don't tire yourself even more, take care always. I'm sorry if I don't show this, but I love you and ella" a tear escaped my eye, "from now on, I'll do what you want, I w-won't t-touch you" my voice cracked and I averted my look to her, "I'll be back" I utter and held her jaw, then kissed her forehead slowly, while my tear are continuing to roll down.

Jennie looks down held my hand that were holding her jaws.

She was silent. Not saying any words.
Sigh.

I stand up then walked towards the door, I opened the door then was about to go out when jennie suddenly crashed her body onto my back.

'Backhug'

She was crying. Hugging me even tighter.

I held her hand that was encircled into my torso then faced her. I cupped her cheeks again

"It's okay jennie, we'll get through this" I said, "I'll just need some time to fix myself.. we need" I said then she opened her mouth, "be back to me, lis" she said while crying "I'll be back, I promise, you're my home"  then I finally pulled away between her hugs then went to ella's room. I sit beside her and kissed her forehead "i'm sorry princess, I love you" and leave.

I need to fix myself.
