Chapter 24

Lisa brought jennie to the emergency room immediately, carrying her. Jisoo and Mr. Kim was with them.

"Lisa? What happened?" Mr. Kim asked while some of the nurses was checking jennie.

"She just went unconscious appa because.."

"can I leave for a bit?" Lisa replied

"Where are you going? How's my grand daughter?"

"Ella.. appa.. she passed away" lisa answered and walked out

Mr. Kim and Jisoo was freaking shocked because of what they've heard.

"Lisa!" Mr. Kim shouted and was about to follow lisa, but jisoo prevented him.

"I'll talk to her uncle. Jennie needs you now" jisoo said then followed lisa.

Lisa went to their ella's room, when she entered it, she saw their daughter was already covered with white cloth.

She started to sob, walking slowly on her daughter's body.

"What did I do!? What did I do to make my family suffer like this!?" She shouted while gripping the cloth that covers their daughter's lifeless body

"maybe.. you need our angel badly" she uttered while crying

She slowly uncovered the body and saw her daughter's pale face, chapped lips and vapid.

It made her cry even more, she can't even look at her daughter.

"ella.." a hoarse voice came out

"you sleep like a princess"

"please, tell me, this is all a bad dream"

Lisa broke down, crying really really hard.

"I can't escape this"

She sniffed her daughter's hair, leaving kisses.

"baby.. you did great"

"you've been my ball of sunshine, my strength, painkiller, everything. you and your mommy. you're such a great kid, I'm lucky to have you"

"when your mommy successfully borns you, I felt like I am the happiest person on earth"

"Please, please. Be always at our side baby.." She cried and speaking almost whispered

"I'm letting you go"

"I love you, little one" one last kiss on her daughter's forehead.

Jennie's POV

"Where's Ella? Lisa?" I asked and sat up immediately only to feel the pain in my head.

I saw lisa, still in her clothes that she was wearing since the accident. Messy hair, unbuttoned polo and blood stains.

She went beside me and hugged me, muttering "hey, how are you feelin'?"

"I'm fine lis. Where's Ella?" I asked her while holding her arms

Instead of answering, she kissed my forehead slowly

"Tell me, it's just a dream" I uttered nervously

"I hope, it's just a dream" she replied then looked at me, "jennie.."

"don't.." I answered and started to cry

"I'm fixing the hospital bills and the papers, she is-"

"I w-want to see h-her" I cut off her words, she bit her lips and nodded

"Alright" she answered then holds my hand
