I slowly ran my hand through his hair as he hid his face in my chest. "I love you, Beaumont," he said quietly. "I love you too, Fovvs."

He looked up to me and smiled. "I'm happy I met you, Ryan. I couldn't be any luckier."

Rye's POV

"How are you doing today? Are you ready?" I try to keep my voice stable, but I don't succeed. Rye, be strong. Do it for Andy.

But I can't help and start crying. "I will miss you, Andy. I will miss you, nothing will be the same. Life won't be worth it without you. I won't be able to hear your laugh again, I won't be able to kiss you, to say 'I love you' and I won't, I- I..."

"Rye."

That's all he says and immediately I calm down a little. I try to hold my tears back and this time it works. Andy looks at me, worry, regret and pain is readable in his eyes.

"Rye," he says again. "Are you sure you agree with this?"

I want to shake my head, to tell him I'm not okay with this, but the only thing I can say is "Yes. I agree with this. You have gone through a lot and you don't deserve to suffer. If you think this is the best for you, than I agree with it. The only thing I've ever wanted is for you to feel happy and safe. And if you don't feel like that in this place, than you should do what you think that's the best. I will have your back, whatever happens today."

Tears are rolling down Andy's cheeks and I wipe them away. "There is no need to cry," I whisper. "Everything is going to end. The pain, the sorrow and the sadness."

"Yes, but everything good is going to end as well. And I don't want us to end. But I also don't want to scare you like I did two months back. And I don't know if I can assure you I won't do that again."

I force myself to smile. "I know."

Andy smiles back and kisses me.

"You will find someone new, I'm sure of it."
