Disclaimer: I don't live in Texas, and neither am I Rick Riordan. All rights goes to him.

Note: Happy Birthday Percy Jackson! Happy birthday Amanda!!! :D BLUE FOOD FOREVER! :)

Also, I have decided to write this fanfic instead of my Alex Rider crossover. I wouldn't be discontinuing it, it's just be ON HOLD.

(edited on 14 feb 2015) : if you want good writing (plot honestly doesn't matter in this book because they're more like one-shots), skip to the chapter title called "Trying His Best" from that onwards, it should be relatively good writing.

CHAPTER NINE

Percy POV

Percy finally felt at home. He knew Camp Half-Blood was his home, and he wanted to stay there. Let's just hope the fates would finally allow Percy to settle down. They were transported to Thalia's tree, and the seven headed down together. Luckily, no severe damage was done to the camp, and only a few campers were injured.

"Percy! Annabeth! Jason! Piper! Leo! Hazel! Frank!" Percy heard everyone erupting in cheers as the seven walked towards the big house.

"Aqua boy!" Percy heard Travis and Connor Stoll calling up to him.

"Hey Travis, hey Connor!" Percy greeted the twins.

"The saviour of Olympus remembers us?" Travis asked pretending to be shocked.

"Well duh! Best pranksters!" Percy said slapping their backs.

"The seven demigods, I'd like to have a word with you," Chiron said before leading them to the big house.

"Hey Chiron!" The seven greeted Chiron gladly.

"Ah, so I see the gods' have granted you your requests already?" Chiron asked.

"Yeap! How did you know?" Leo asked bouncing up and down.

"Obviously because Percy is still here!" Chiron joked with them.

"Chiron, how many campers are injured/dead?" Annabeth was curious to know about the campers.

"None died, surprisingly. I guess Thanatos gave the campers a chance, and closed one eye." Chiron smiled.

"Thank the gods!" Annabeth and Percy sighed in unison.

"Yes, a really joyful occasion." Chiron grinned.

The seven demigods left the big house, and decided to catch up with the other campers. Frank and Hazel were with Nico Di Angelo, Hazel's half-brother, Leo was with Nyssa and the rest of the Hephaestus kids, Piper was being mobbed by her siblings. It was fortunate for her that some of the Aphrodite kids heeded Aphrodite's request from Piper. Jason was with Thalia, his full sister, catching up. Percy and Annabeth? Oh, they were being surrounded by the rest of the cabins, and were bombarded with questions about their recent quest.

When the campers went back to their normal duties, Percy finally had some alone time with Annabeth... At the beach. It was their favourite hangout before Percy was being demigod-napped by Hera.

"You saved the world twice," Annabeth told Percy softly.

"No, we saved the mortals, gods and demigods. We kinda made the world (aka earth, aka Gaia) go back to a thousand, and hopefully million year slumber. Also, we saved them. Not me," Percy shrugged.

"Yeah, but you took the final blow to put Gaia to rest. And, you understand what I mean by saving the world!" Annabeth playfully slapped Percy's arm.

"Do you wonder if there'll be any more Great Prophecies? I sure as Hades won't want to be apart of it any more!" Percy stood up, holding out his hand for Annabeth to grab it.

"Don't jinx it Seaweed Brain. We finally have some time to think of what we just did yesterday, and here you are 'wishing' there'd be another prophecy for you to be apart of. I don't want you to get exchanged by an Egyptian camp," Annabeth said taking Percy's hand.

"Egyptian camp? Seriously, Wise Girl?" Percy asked Annabeth.

"First thing that came to my mind, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said before going towards the shore.

"Speaking of mind... I can always picture your mind literally like gears moving around. That's annoying, stop thinking so much!" Percy said slightly louder, but in a playful manner.

"Maybe you should switch on your engine too. At least there wouldn't be kelp in your head," Annabeth replied teasingly.

"But if I did that, you'd have to think of a new nickname for me!" Percy laughed.

"Whatever, Seaweed Brain. Let's go for a swim," Annabeth said pulling Percy into the water with her.

At first, they did splash some water at each other, but who could resist being in an underwater bubble?
